Explain and examines if and how internal communication strategies may be utilized to bring about strategic employee.

1) Definition of the problem
In his article, Mazzei (2014) notes two possible but conflicting roles that the employees may play in a company’s internal communication arena. On one hand, they can bring about strategic communication actions. These include making active and constructive processing, interpretation and dissemination of company information. On the other hand, as communication agents they may be destructive, as is the case when they leak sensitive information, malign the company or fail to share information. Today’s human resource management is, therefore, in a difficult situation of designing and implementing a strategy that elicits strategic communication actions from the employees. The article examines if and how internal communication strategies may be utilized to bring about strategic employee communicative actions.

2) Summary of previous investigations
Past studies have attempted to examine factors that influence communicative actions of employees. These include the quality of employee management relationship extent of employee involvement and extent to which the problems and constraints are recognized. Active allegiance, which is positive attitude about the company, could also be fostered to enable employees acts as the advocates of the company. These factors could be manipulated to suit the organization context and bring about strategic communication actions. In this study, Mazzei (2014) finds that internal communications strategies if well will nurture employees to be good communicators through four pathways: exploration, positive interpretation of the information, constructive sharing of information and acting positively in response to the communication. Mutuality, openness and low power distance are found to be a positive enabler here. Mutuality is defined by employee commitment and the management’s recognition of the commitment. The end result is to lend a competitive advantage.
3) Identification
There are some gaps in the literature. It focuses on the Italian and American companies, and the two countries have a western culture. The findings may, therefore, reflect Western cultural communication values. It is, however, questionable if they would apply to a different cultural setting such as those of Eastern , African or Chinese cultures.
4) Recommendation
Companies should adopt internal communication strategies that will promote strategic communication actions. This could be achieved by cultivating low power distance and reciprocate on employee’s commitment. Further research is, however, necessary to assess what works well for cultures other than Western.

Analyze both the social and military aspects of the “Battle of Waterloo in 1815” and “The Somme in 1916” by

As part of this class you have read John Keegan’s analysis of both the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and The Somme in 1916. Both chapters from his book analyze both the social and military aspects of these battles.
In this paper you will basically compare these two battles, how warfare changed over this century, and what those changes reflect about the larger societies of Western Europe, particularly Britain and France in this case.
Review both articles and any notes that you may have taken. Read the textbook chapters on the First World War and Napoleonic campaigns. Then sit down and think about the major changes that

occurred in battle over the century in between these two events. What did not change? Are the soldier’s experiences of fighting different? Better? Worse? In what ways? How did these participants feel about what they were doing and their experiences? Has technology gotten more efficient and effective? Or not? Was that good for soldiers or not? What do these new types of warfare reflect about the changes in these societies? This is what I wish you to tell me in your paper.
Make an argument using a clear, easily identifiable thesis statement.
No wikipedia or internet usage is allowed. Work cited page is not necessary. I want to see your thoughts on these articles and societies. Don’t just quote massive amounts of the articles. I want you to pull evidence out of them, but not just repeat everything he said.

The revolution in transportation and in information and communications technology has opened up new opportunities for transnational corporations.Discuss.

Question:The essay: I’d like you to think across the various topics and readings covered in the second half of the course and come prepared to answer a specific question in class (in NO MORE than 3-4 blue book pages). Here is the question: The revolution in transportation and in information and communications technology has opened up new opportunities for (and placed additional pressures upon) transnational corporations. In particular, these technological advances have accelerated the ‘internationalization’ of the production process (e.g. through the creation of increasingly elaborate global supply chains). The latter process most obviously involves an acceleration in the cross-border movement of capital but also, to a somewhat lesser extent, an increase in the international movement of people (of various skill sets and educational levels). As a well-trained economist with full autonomy to make international economic policy in EITHER a developing or developed country, discuss the kinds of efficiency (welfare) and equity considerations you would need (want) to take into account in determining whether to embrace, resist, or reduce/slow down the impact of this latest phase of globalization on the residents of your country.

As I am from South Korea, “Residents of your country” here would be South Korea.

Discuss the pros and cons (strengths and weaknesses) of the research strategy and design used in understanding behavioral research.

Critique Guidelines
ORLJ 4009

All research efforts are flawed in some way. Some flaws can be overcome and some cannot. Read the assigned article and think about the questions listed below. Then write a critical evaluation of the assigned article. You should address each of the questions below, paying particular attention to question #4. Be sure to answer each question respectively and number your responses to each of the questions. Make sure to explain your responses.
Please keep your paper to 4-5 double-spaced, typed pages, using one inch margins, and 12-pt. font. Papers longer than 5 pages will not be accepted for grading.
1. Briefly state the purpose of the research (the research question). Identify the nature of the research question (descriptive, relational or experimental) that the research is attempting to address. (5 points)
2. Identify the research strategy (e.g., McGrath’s circumplex) and research design (e.g., X’s and O’s) employed. Do the strategy and design appropriately address the researcher’s question(s) (as described in question 1 above)? Why or why not? (10 points)

3. Is the sample appropriate? Have the study variables been operationalized appropriately? (10 points)
4. Discuss the pros and cons (strengths and weaknesses) of the research strategy and design used. Please include a discussion of how well each of McGrath’s 3 goals (A,B,C) were satisfied with the research strategy utilized and all possible threats to the internal and external validity of the research (be sure to explain how these threats may have operated to influence the study results). What are
the limitations of this research in addition to those you identified with respect to the research strategy and design (e.g. subject-experimenter effects)? Can you generate alternative interpretations of the researcher’s results? (25 points)
Note: Research articles often represent hours of time and energy invested by the authors in conceptualizing the research question, designing the study, collecting data, analyzing the results, and formulating conclusions. Please be mindful of this fact, and regardless of the flaws you have identified, try to respect that this work may represent something personally valuable to the authors. The purpose of a critique is to improve the work, not tear it down.

Social Media type of media is the fastest of the world.E the way that Social Media is affected by community and its effect.

Compared with all other type of media in the history, Social Media type of media is the fastest of the world (Osburn, 4). People are very interest for the conversations, for examples, one-to-one, and specific conversations (Osburn, 4). These people in entrepreneurs, are especially interested in conversationings with the CEOs, industry leaders, the business owners, basically the ones with the knowledge that has very rarely been accessible so easily to the Joe Publics.
When we be sure to making the content “consistent and good to ensure that the social engagement is there” people will be so interested (Miles, 124). How important is it to not to only use one social platiform when advertising stuff? This way we can finally see that the ways that Social Media is used can really show us an obvious example of the way that Social Media is affected by community.
We know that YouTube is a multimillion dollar marketing tool (Miles, 164). There are the views reports there which are supposed to provide information on YouTube which can be used to show the increase in interest in items there (Miles, 187). There are analytics to help the business evaluate themselves in this ways we can draw the conclusions that YouTube can prove the increase in the interest toward somethings (Miles, 186). It is our intension in this papers to show from our researches that there has been an influence of interest in Sports by the Social Media. At this time, I looked and it seems better to only use YouTube, because it has the most research, but I am waiting to understand if we can use also Facebook, but not Twitter. I need to find out how to separate all of these to prove the most strong point that in fact, the Social Media did be showing affected to the Sports of a few types.

YouTube is more than a video-hosting site, there is a social parts of the YouTube (Miles, 7). Jason Miles has a lots to say about all this YouTube things. He is such expert of this. His is he the creator of 6 of the top 50 more respondsives replies on all of the whole YouTube. This statistic is of all of those of every of the YouTube videos of all time when this book is written in the year of 2014, which is only the one last year (Miles, 7).
According to this man Miles, there is an eager audience on YouTube and they are just awaiting to watch the videos. When fans share your videos on other social networks, Facebook, LinkedIn or maybe Twitter, they will spread the news of the topics of what they are watching to all friends for them to also share and collect and make bigger your topics which you have in your videos (Miles, 16).
We are discussing the effect of how YouTube can show that interests of people in Sports. For example, there is an well documented American Apathy toward soccer (Buffington, 3). There is also a worldwide love, devotion, obsession, and natural inclination toward soccer in the entire rest of the world. There is evidence in the Snowboarding circles that the transnational effects of Social Media are strong (Thorpe, 2). Salman Khan has a huge following on YouTube teaching many things (Miles, 4). He has been the example of how diverse and random one persons videos can be on YouTube and still be so extremely successful with them all of them (Miles, 4). This can show that when people are interested in something on Social Media, they will be determined and then they will find it. These people are learning all types of things on YouTube. We can now make the connection that if people are finding these types of things and they are determined, then the statistics on the interests in Sports will be evident throughout the research of this paper.
One very so exciting example of this trend is the research done by Holly Thorpe dealing with the Snowboarding culture. “This paper offers the First in-depth examination of the transnational flows…in the contemporary physical culture of snowboarding” (Thorpe, 2). Snowboarding became more and more popular over time through across gender and ages (Thorpe, 2). Although most or many of them are coming to snowboarding with wealth, the interest in the sport is increasing across lines (Thorpe, 2). We can see from this evidence that the social media was partly influential in raising the interest of this sports.“Snowboarding was exposed to international audiences via mass events such as the X Games, Gravity Games and Winter Olympics, it beganattracting an influx of participants from around the world, and from different social classes.” (How to cite this?) Snowboarding has seen a 385% increase in participation
between 1988 and 2003 (Thorpe, 2). She also found sources that support how cultures travel while people travel, and that social aspects of groups in this case, have influenced the changes that they have seen in this study (Thorpe, 3).
Buffington clearly states in his study that the United States is United States is “both internally unified and different from all other nations through its ambivalence toward soccer” (Buffington.here is a distinctly low cultural interest in soccer exhibited by Americans toward the World Cup (Buffington, 3). Buffington found that there is a difference between the way the Americans see soccer and the way the rest of the world sees soccer. They used the world cup to make this conclusions. Their conclusions were related to the World Cup. They studied through the American Soccer Journalists. Though there is much Soccer Journalists in America, the United States is not the only country to call it “soccer”.

” clown’s physical and moral deterioration stands as a more general emblem for the twilight of a once-popular form now peopled by decadent performers and reliant on outdated modes”Discuss

In his article “Clowns on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown” Andrew Stott argues that “it is clear that the clown’s physical and moral deterioration stands as a more general emblem for the twilight of a once-popular form now peopled by decadent performers and reliant on outdated modes” (15). Use at least two examples including one we have studied to examine the extent to which anachronism or the weight of the past inhere in villain figures.
