Many students do not know how much of a distraction a smartphone is, so they tend to still use it even when it is prohibited in class. Smart phones should be banned in class rooms because students can easily get distracted.

Virus threats seem to be one of the most common threats. The virus threat is very similar to a biological virus between humans. The virus threats do not infect humans; they infect and can cause damage to computers. “A virus must piggyback on top of some other program or document in order to get executed. Once it is running, it is then able to infect other programs or documents” (Newman, 2010). A computer virus can be as harmless as a pop up greeting on a computer; to a malicious virus that can cause computers to crash and/or cause monetary destruction.
