This article discusses the differences between covert and overt offenses concerning traffic congestion and violations. The article also goes into depth on what type of individuals commit such offenses and describes how serious road traffic offenses are.

Comments made during my presentation that should be included are: 1) Why was this structure built? 2)what significance does the layout and size of the building play and tell us about the one who financed the palace. 3) What does the open space of the Piazza in front of the building tell us? (possibly that they were very inviting to the public? (maybe wanted to give back after tearing down the area to build there place) 4) Was it socially and economically acceptable to build such a structure during those times and in the place they did it? 5) All these questions should be addressed in the paper, as their should be more analysis then pure summary of the history of the structure.

1. In “Too Much Pressure” Colleen Wenke implies that cheating in school is inevitable and no big thing. Do you agree? Consider not just school but in the wider society. As an alternative, you can closely analyze her essay point by point and using sources, to disagree with what she says.

2. In “Cheating in a Bottom-line Economy” on p 128-138 in Money Changes Everything David Callahan equates cheating by blue collar workers and white collar workers as the same. Do you agree that it is the same and how do you think this affects the workers and others?

3. In “Unpaid Interns, Complicit Colleges” Ross Perlin writes about why he is against internships. Do you think internships, even unpaid internships, should be encouraged and sponsored by colleges? Why or why not? As an alternative, you can closely analyze his essay, and using sources, disagree with what he says, point by point.

4. “Is Your Job Going Abroad” by Jyoti Thottam writes about outsourcing. She takes a somewhat neutral stand although the cons somewhat outweigh the pros. Do you think that outsourcing is basically good or necessary? Consider it from both its effects on people in this country or abroad. You might consider combining this with question 5. You may want to refer also to Milton Friedman’s article on p. 157 in Money Changes Everything.

5. In “Two Cheers for Sweatshops” Nickolas Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn basically support sweatshops. Do you think that sweatshops are good or necessary? Consider it from both its effects on people in this country and abroad. You might consider combining this with question 4. See the attachment for some of the videos we looked at, which you may want to consider. You may want to refer also to Milton Friedman’s article on p. 157 in Money Changes Everything.

6. In “Chinese Mothers Are Superior” Amy Chua implies that her somewhat extreme method of raising children is “superior.” Do you basically agree? Take a stand. Consider the effects of children now and in the future. You might want to consider Frank Bruni’s article on suicide and Colleen Wenke’s article on cheating. Or as an alternative, you can closely analyze Chua’s article and using sources, argue against her, point by point.

7. In “College Sports Inc” on p. 267-278 in Money Changes Everything by Murray Sperber writes against the commercialization of college sports. Do you agree that this is a problem? You can also write about whether playing a dangerous sport like football should be acceptable. If you choose this topic, see the attachment on football and sports.

8. Look at the debate on legalizing marijuana. Do you agree or disagree that marijuana be legalized, which has aleady happened in several states? You can distinquish legalizing marijuana for medical reasons if you wish.
