How Do Writers Create Character

Write a 1500+ word paper on the concept of character in literature. Your character analysis can include questions of race, class, or gender. This is still a LITERARY paper, so you must use at least 10 literary terms in your essay. Literary terms include plot, character, metaphor, symbolism, etc. There are many terms you should learn from the “Literary Terms” link on the class web site.
A character analysis focuses on one or more characters in a story and will discuss what role character plays in the development of the story. You may focus on how the author both tells us about the character through direct description and what we learn about the character through his or her actions or decisions in the story. My instructions were:
Pick a contemporary pop/rock artist and trace their musical footprints through the sounds of folk music history. Use at least 12 separate sources. “The key to success comes from your ability to apply key information and concepts from Folk music history to your topic”

I would like to use the band “Kansas” and particulary 30% of the essay- I would like to have the song meaning & critical thinking applied about the song “Dust in the wind”

If there is another Band/Song that would be EASIER to write about…feel free to do so, as long as the concepts of folk music history are incorporated to the band/song throughout history. “Journey” is another one of my favorite bands.

Research essay
The research essay is the major piece of work for the semester. It is intended to demonstrate a detailed and critical understanding of the important aspects of one of the cybercrimes covered in the unit. Students are required to select a research question (listed below), conduct independent research and write a 2000 word analytical essay.

Describe the process of regulation of bulk fluid flow across capillaries. How would heart failure disrupt this process resulting in oedema?

Introduction
The cardiovascular system comprises of the heart and blood vessels which both work together in keeping the continuous circulation of blood through the body (Marieb & Hoehn, 2014). This ensures a continuous supply of oxygen and nutrients to tissue cells and also prevents waste build up, a critical homeostatic need (Marieb & Hoehn, 2014). As well as gas and nutrient exchange the capillaries facilitate bulk fluid flow across capillary walls, important in regulating the relative fluid volume in the blood stream and interstitial space (tissue) (Marieb & Hoehn, 2014). When this homeostatic balance is disrupted it can lead to excess fluid draining into tissue and causing oedema (Marieb & Hoehn, 2014). This overload of fluid into the tissue can be caused by heightened pressure in the veins and capillaries as a result of heart failure (Hughes, 2013).

Using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach, describe and justify what you believe to be a plausible supply chain for your chosen product/service. Identify the key production processes, material flows, product flows, information flows, financial flows and supply chain relationships that have the greatest influence over the performance of this supply chain. Students will receive high marks for their ability to ‘critically evaluate’ the problems with the existing supply chain, such as identifying bottlenecks, long lead times, production waste, non-value adding activities, scheduling problems, poor supply chain communication, excessive inventory, stock out risks, capacity constraints, order backlogs, disruption risks, logistical/ transportation delays or sustainability issues.
