This course requires one (1) writing assignment. Begin thinking of what community policing aspect from the textbook you would like to analyze. Your task will be to research your topic, and what law enforcement agency uses this aspect. Your paper will have between 3-5 sources and you must use quotes from your sources in your paper and properly cite them using APA style. One of your sources must be from the textbook used in this course.. Your paper is to be between 3-5 pages in length. For formatting requirements see the sample paper on the blackboard. It is very important that your paper contains a cover sheet, Table of Contents, Body of paper and References. Your research paper formatting will mirror the sample paper provided to you on the blackboard. You will use a 12 point font such as Arial, Verdana, or Courier. Your sources will come from books, scholarly reviewed journal articles or official webpages from criminal justice agencies. Wikipedia will not be used.
