Building Learning Organizations Paper Guidelines
Prepare an 8 page paper that discusses strategies to build a learning
organization in a specific team or department. The paper consists of two parts,
1. As a case analysis, identify a challenge a specific organization that is not a learning organization faces; diagnose the issue by describing the impact of one or more system archetypes, and one or more learning disabilities
2. Recommend a plan to build a learning organization in the specific organization described in the case analysis by applying each of Senge’s five disciplines
The final paper must adhere to APA standards and cite five or more scholarly sources including three peer-reviewed journal articles. In addition to the journal articles, you may use your course textbooks and additional scholarly sources as appropriate.

In this course, you will look at classical ethical theories of utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics. You will also examine different perspectives on ethical issues introduced by relativism, ethical egoism, and emotivism. For this paper, you will apply these theories and perspectives to a current issue, selected from the list of issues below.
Choose one of the ethical issues from the list below to research and write about. It is recommended that you choose a topic you are familiar with or have thought about previously. For example, you might choose an issue that either worries you or enrages you; you might choose one that you have worked on; or you might choose one that relates to recent events in your community.

In your paper, you will apply the ethical theories and perspectives to the issue you select. You do not have to use all six, but you should apply at least two ethical theories and at least one ethical perspective in your paper. Make sure you write primarily on ethical topics and concepts; do not get distracted by doing analyses that apply political, economic, religious, or legal perspectives. Describe, compare, and apply the ethical theories and perspectives to the topics. Explain how the theories and perspectives would analyze the issue. What are the ethical issues? Where are there breaches of ethical behavior? How could each theory help people think about what would constitute virtuous or ethical behavior?

Write a 1,500- to 1,750-word paper on the following:
Describe one neurodevelopmental disorder and one neurocognitive disorder. (Note: See chapters 14 & 15 from the Butcher et al. text)
Discuss behavioral criteria for each disorder.
Discuss incidence rates and causes for each disorder.
Discuss two options for treatment for each disorder, based on two different theoretical models.

Note: Your competitive set (CS) includes your BPS plus two competing branded products or services that have significant share in your EMs. You may not find direct or product form competition in EMs, since your BPS is new to these markets. If that is the case, you may use “indirect competitors” from product category, generic competition or budget competition for your CS.

3. For each of 2 competitors in each EM and your BPS, identify one CSF/KSF that appears to be in place, and the intelligence or rationale for your analysis
4. Based on your analysis of EMs from all your assignments: Select your choice of one target entry market (TEM). Provide your reason for selecting that TEM as the better choice among the two you researched

Memory loss or impairment can be difficult to deal with because it affects many aspects of life. Many factors and conditions can lead to memory loss, including strokes, head injuries, drug use, depression, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. Conduct a little research, and report on two different types of memory loss. Compare and contrast changes in the brain and memory that occur with each type of memory loss. After discussing specific types of memory loss, provide a few suggestions for improving memory based on what you learned about memory systems in this week’s readings.

Chapters 5 and 6 in your text discuss several iconic experiments in memory that have helped us learn about our memory system. After reading about the experiments, select one of the optional articles featured in the module resources and provide a brief critique of the experiment and its application to the real world. You should be sure to discuss any problems with the methodology of the experiment or any problems with the interpretations of the results. Additionally, consider how the findings of the study can be applied to real-world issues. How could findings from the experiment be applied to develop policies or procedures to improve human memory in different professional settings? What strengths or weaknesses in human memory do the experiments highlight that would be important for professional disciplines?

This paper does not have to be written in any format. There are 51 separate court systems in the United States. The federal government operates one court system, the federal courts; and each of the 50 states operates a court system, the state courts. The federal court and all of the state courts have three main levels: trial courts, appeals courts, and supreme courts. Define trial courts, appeals courts, and supreme courts. Explain the main responsibilities of state appeals courts. What is the purpose of state appeals courts? How are state appeals courts different from state trial courts and state supreme courts?

Your analysis of a discourse community should contain the following key elements:
® A detailed description of the community and an account of how you came to be a part of this community or how you came to be interested in it.
® What kinds of specific terminology or language do members of these communities use and how is this language useful to them?
® What kinds of rules does this community have? How important are these rules? Why?
® What are the genres or texts specific to this community?
® What kinds of communicative practices are common to members of this community? That is, do they commonly communicate through writing or through speech? Why? And how are these communicative practices effective?
® What kinds of specific literacies are required to be a part of this community? How do new members of the community acquire these literacies? What is the process for doing so?
® Create an argument about why it is important to acquire the literacy practices of this discourse community. What is its value? What does acquiring these literacy practices allow community members to do?
