Technology in Higher Education
The changing world we live in has created a strong push on educators to integrate technology into their classroom and daily lessons. However, higher education teachers often lack the technology education in order to integrate the appropriate tools into the curriculum. In a two- to four-page paper (double-spaced, not including title and reference pages) discuss the following topics:
Should technology be a requirement in all classrooms? Why or why not?
Is the use of technology helpful to all types of learners?
What are the advantages and disadvantages to technology use in the higher education classroom?
Your paper should reflect current research and support for your own thoughts and opinions on the topic. Additionally, your paper must be a minimum of two pages (double-spaced, not including title and reference pages), be written in A.P.A. format as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center, and have appropriate research citations.

2.Write a 1-2 page paper.
3.In your paper, answer the question: What are the costs and benefits of globalization? Support your answers with the findings from the journal articles and other sources you would like to use. Cite your references.

One strategy that has proven effective for improving population health outcomes is screening. Screening programs for breast, cervical, prostate, and colon cancer allow for early detection and treatment, thereby improving health outcomes. Advocates of early screening programs have sought to inform populations at risk of the value of participating in early screening.
Consider the following examples: In Florida, mobile mammography units have reached out to uninsured women and provided free mammograms. In Maryland, Wellmobiles go out into the community to provide primary and preventive health care services to geographically underserved communities and uninsured individuals across the state. Many such programs are available for individuals to participate in screening, regardless of ability to pay.
In this Assignment, you will evaluate the characteristics of preventive health programs that lead to successful outcomes.
To prepare:
Review the article “Improving Female Preventive Health Care Delivery Through Practice Change” found in this week’s Learning Resources. Consider why the Every Woman Matters program was not effective in meeting its goals.
Using the Walden Library and other credible websites, identify at least two successful advocacy programs for early cancer screening and evaluate the characteristics that made them effective based on the evidence presented in the article or website.
To complete:
Write a 3- to 5-page paper that includes the following:
Summarize the Every Woman Matters program and how the issue of women’s preventive health care was approached. Analyze possible reasons the program was ineffective.
Summarize the characteristics at least two prevention programs that advocate for early screening, describing what made them successful.
If you were the nurse leader in charge of developing a follow-up to the Every Woman Matters program, what strategies would you propose for creating a more effective prevention program?
1. Explain the philosophy behind the framing of the Constitution (e.g., separation of powers, checks and balances, the idea of a social contract, etc.). Discuss which branch is the most powerful (this is your thesis).
2. Discuss the distinction between the enumerated powers of Congress with that of the President with that of the Supreme Court per the Constitution (Articles 1, 2 &3).
3. Explain how Congress is able to expand its power. Identify two areas (cite Supreme Court Cases or legislation) where Congress has expanded its enumerated powers.
4. Explain how the Office of the President is able to expand its power. How have institutional changes influenced its power? What role does the bureaucracy play in allowing the President to expand his/her power? Identify at least two (2) additional powers of president that were not granted in 1787. Look at the text, it tells you why this branch has expanded so much!
5. What are some additional powers of the Supreme Court that were not originally constitutionally granted? How does the Judiciary Act of 1789 further explain judicial power? Cite 3 cases that demonstrate the power of the Supreme Court. How does “legislating from the bench” influence the power of the Supreme Court (see interview with Justice Stephens)?
6. Checks and Balances—How can Congress check the president? How can Congress check the Supreme Court? How does the Supreme Court check Congress and the President? Finally, What role do the media or the people play in checking the elected branches of government?
