* From the scenario, propose two (2) methods that Golds Reling, Inc. could use in order to effectively measure customer satisfaction for the new product launch. Imagine that you have been tasked with creating an app for Apple’s iTunes store. Determine two (2) research tools (surveys focus groups, concept testing, etc.) you will use to identify customers’ needs. Provide a rationale for your response.

Correlational, descriptive and historical research are classified under one category known as nonexperimental research. Explain how these types of research are the same and how they are different.

Find two pieces that address the “gaze” from 1850 CE to 1900 CE. One by a male artist, one by female artist – both with a female as the “gazer”. Discuss differences and similarities. (IE- what is the subject, is there story, is the female clothed..or not).

Explain the “power” of the gaze in each piece.

When is a shark just a shark? Consider the movie Jaws. What could the shark symbolize in our culture, society, or collective human mythology other than a man-eating fish? Why? Support your answer.

An audience has the potential to laugh, or respond emotionally to a live performance sometimes in a way that is unexpected by the performers. This can further enhance or distract the performance if the nuance of the tone is thus changed.
Perhaps one of the best examples that demonstrates how this can happen is satirizes in Mel Brooks film The Producers (1967, and later its musical update). Here the playwrights serious play is at first seen as shocking to the audience, but once L.S.D.–oddly cast as Hitler–appears, the audience perceives the show as a comedy; much to the dismay of the author of the play!

Allison cannot stand the thought of again facing bankruptcy of a business that she has worked so hard for. Allison contacts the suppliers of the new pizza place and tries to convince them not to deal with the new place. The credit worthiness of the new restaurant is lied about, and the moral character of the owner called into question. What torts has Allison committed? What defense(s) might she assert?
