Write your Analysis of Rhetoric, for the attached speech (Obama\’s November 7, 2007, speech on the \’American Dream\’). Try to write it from a foreigner perspective.

As you work on the analysis, remember that to analyze the speaker\’s rhetoric, you will need to closely examine his use of language and style. Remember to show and tell; incorporate direct quotes from the speech that demonstrate your point.

Remember to show what you mean by quoting from the speech, and to introduce and integrate your quotes into your writing. Make sure that everything you quote is relevant; only include the words/phrases that help you to support your point. Make use of ellipses where necessary.
Be sure to fully explain all of your examples. Good rule of thumb: for anything you include that they say, you say at least twice as much of your own analysis, interpretation, and argument.
Make sure that the essay fully addresses the task of the assignment, developing and defending a coherent and unified thesis about the use of rhetorical strategies in the text.

Ethical Analysis Paper on Coors

Ethical Analysis AssignmentI would like to do the assignment on Coors for I am in Colorado and told my professor I would write about there both good and bad ethical practices. For this assignment you will select a company to research and analyze and then will write a 5-7 page paper that compares and contrasts data that you gather about the company’s practices and their public presentation. You will examine information such as the mission statement, company advertising, and their overall web presence to determine how that company wishes to be perceived. You will compare and contrast this with data that you gather about actual company practices—labor practices, hiring, equity issues, environmental issues, and/or anything that supports or undermines their public presentation. It is important to include any credible, critical information to avoid having a paper that sounds like advertising copy for the company. It will be necessary to use and correctly cite external sources, including company documents, newspaper and/or journal analysis of practices, government data, etc. Use APA or MLA as your citation style, and be sure to include both in-text and end citations. The Purdue OWL, which is linked from the home page, is a good resource for citation information. If you use a citation generator just be sure to double check things like title capitalization, which is rarely fixed by generators. Use of visual data representations, photos, video, and external links will be essential to examine company advertising. An easy example of how this would work would be an analysis of British Petroleum (BP). In the wake of environmental disasters BP has been attempting to create a more eco-friendly persona in their advertising and web presence. For the analysis, you would provide the background about the company, including controversies and some history, and then look at current company media representations (advertisements, social media, etc.). You would analyze how the public presentation is supported by or undermined by real-world practices. Use specific examples and credible sources to back up your analysis.Avoid companies that have already been analyzed to death regarding their ethical practices, such as Walmart, Nike, and McDonald\’s. Pick a company that has recently been newsworthy, either for scandal and/or for doing positive work. Local and regional businesses can also work well for this analysis. To remain objective, do not pick a business with which you have a personal, family, or professional connection.I grade these based on quality of research and analysis, level of detail, and complexity of approach. This means that a paper that goes beyond superficial, fairly evident analysis will earn a higher grade. Inclusion of credible research that is correctly cited will also influence the grade. While the analysis should maintain a goal of general objectivity, your opinion will play an important role in the conclusions that you draw. Just make sure you back up your opinions with evidence. For instance, if you make a claim that Costco is not as labor-friendly as it self-presents, back it up with some credible data.Basics: Include a clear and objective title. Use subtitle headings if desired. Include a Works Cited (for MLA) or References (for APA) page that is labeled as such. Include in-text citations for all direct quotes, statistics, implied statistics, visual representations of data, images, summary from other sources, or paraphrasing.

Character Analysis about

This paper is for English class in my college. This class is designed to encourage improvement in essay composition through a focus on critical thinking about literary works, so this paper required literary analysis.Prompt: For this paper, you will be moving from surface to depth to analyze one character of your choosing in James Baldwin\’s If Beale Street Could Talk. This character can be a major character (i.e. Fonny or Tish) or it may be a minor character ( Mrs. Hunt, Ernestine, Frank, Joseph, Mr. Hayward). Either way, you will not only throughly describe in detail who this character is in the novel(i.e. Surface), but you will also point to a larger social, political, cultural, racial, OR gendered issue that Baldwin\’s depiction of this character\’s experience points to in the work (i.e. DEPTH). Just a quick note, I put an \”OR\” between these issues here because you don\’t have to describe every issue the character connects with; in fact, you should narrow your analysis to ONE particular issue or idea that this character\’s role in the novel presents. This paper requires 2 to 3 articles to help support your in depth analysis of the significance of this character.I found out some articles that might relate to this novel, so I also send these materials to the writer. However, if they are not correct, Could you have access and select the most relevant resources at the appropriate this novel ? My instructor says that resources must be from Google Scholar or JSTOR. Also, we need to use quotes, images, terms, etc to support description of character.
