I. Introduction, Research Question, and Hypothesis: This section shall provide an overview of the topic that you are writing about, a concise synopsis of the issues, and why the topic presents a “puzzle” that prompts your research questions, which you will include. This section will be 1-2 pages. This section can be preceded by an epigraph that creates interest in the topic. Ensure that you follow proper format for epigraphs!! You did this section in HW2.
II. Review of the Literature: All research projects include a literature review to set out for the reader what knowledge exists on the subject under study and helps the researcher develop the research strategy to use in the study. A good literature review is a thoughtful study of what has been written, a summary of the arguments that exist (whether you agree with them or not), arranged thematically. At the end of the summary, you should circle back to your research question that remains to be answered. It is written in narrative format and can be from 3-5 pages depending on the scope and length of the paper. You did this in HW4.
III. Methodology and Research Strategy: This section provides the reader with a description of how you are planning to conduct research. It explains what research approach you have chosen, and why. It describes any special considerations and defines any limitations and terms specific to this project, if necessary. NOTE: SINCE YOU WILL NOT BE OPERATIONALIZING THE METHODS AND APPROACHES YOU CONSIDERED IN HW 5 AND HW6, YOU WILL PROBABLY WRITE A QUALITATIVE RESEARCH PAPER. SIMPLY STATE YOUR WORKING HYPOTHESIS AND THE VARIABLES THAT YOU HAVE IDENTIFIED FOR ANALYSIS.
IV. Findings and Analysis: This section provides the results of your research and the analytical arguments that will make as a result of your findings. In a quantitative project, this section would provide the results of the data collection and an analysis of what it illustrates in empirical terms. In a qualitative project – like yours – you will simply provide your analysis of the variables you identified and explain what your research findings are. How did your independent variable affect the outcome and your dependent variable?? Did you prove or disprove your hypothesis? What new information have you discovered, if any? This section could be 1-3 pages depending on the length of the paper and scope of the project.
V. Conclusions: This section will contain the concluding analytical arguments based on what research has revealed to answer the research question. Like any conclusion, it should provide a synopsis of the project, the strategy, and the results and what they add to the body of knowledge. This section should also offer suggestions for avenues of future research for other scholars, as all knowledge is evolutionary. This section can be 1-2 pages depending on the scope of the project.

Be sure to define your terms and provide enough context and explanation for your readers to understand what you’re talking about. Use some of the texts we have read ( Jeremy Dean’s “How a Psychological Bias…”,Amoja Three Rivers’ “Cultural Etiquette,”) to provide both quoted and paraphrased material for your discussion.

The purpose of the learning journal is for you to delve deeply into some of the concepts that were not clear in the module. Using your quiz scores to guide the content selection, write a reflective self analysis essay that addresses specific points. Reflective essays are more than commentaries on what happened, they probe into the hows and whys. Reflective essays are personal explorations of one’s own learning process.
Your essay should be ~500 word / 2-page essay about what you’ve learned from the module. The focus of the essay should be your exploration of the concepts and your understanding of them. Do not copy over the questions/answers from the quiz; instead, focus the journal on the concepts behind the questions. Look over the questions you’ve missed – look for trends in terms of topics or even question types. If you did not miss many or any questions, focus the journal on the concepts that you struggled with the most. You might also discuss how the concepts have become more fleshed out – discuss the change over time in your understanding of categories or specific topics.
The essay should have a clear introduction and conclusion. Organize the body of your 2-page essay around the two or three major concepts that you are unsure about. For each concept, provide a definition in your own words then try to examine the difference between what you understand & what the quiz answers and course resources said. Be sure to ask questions if you have them.

My best friend Alina has a bridal shower. I want to write a fun exciting speech. We met in High School. In the 9th Grade. Alina was a very difficult person to talk too. She would roll her eyes and make fon of other people. She wouldn’t let me copy of her homework and when you would ask her a question she would roll her eyes and turn away. Alina did this over and over again until she realized this little girl isn’t going anywhere. She decided to friend me and then wouldn’t leave my sight. Alina & I would travel home together, eat lunch together, talk on the phone for hours & make plans to do everything. We became best friends. People mixed us up as twins/sisters. Multicultural Competency Self-Assessment
Forensic populations are some of the most diverse of all treatment populations, thus making cultural competence an important attribute for those who administer treatment in forensic settings. In fact, nearly all professional codes of conduct emphasize multicultural competency as a vital skill for clinical practice. Cultural awareness and competency are necessary for the skilled treatment provider in any setting and particularly in forensic settings. How might a person’s culture impact behavior? As a forensic treatment professional, being more aware of culture, diversity, and cultural competency may impact the effectiveness of your professional practice.

/0.5 Introductory paragraph (one paragraph). The paragraph must end with a thesis statement that tells the reader the purpose of the paper and what will be discussed in the paper
/3 Describe the current situation, state of practice, and summary of existing conditions – Describe the present situation and why change is needed. Include relevant data regarding cost and productivity with the current state of practice. Describe what is not working and make it clear why the proposal should be accepted.
/4 Describe the new program or proposed solution – Presenting the differences in the current state and the future state is considered the gap – your proposal should close this gap. Explain in detail the solution. The proposed change in practice is based on the best available evidence (peer reviewed references required). Research the literature and gather best evidence from professional organizations and regulatory agencies to assure that your analysis and subsequent recommendations are evidence-based. Make your suggested practice change as specific as possible.
/3 Market analysis – Perform a SWOT analysis – a review of the strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats. Include as an appendix.
