Explain and discuss the effects of participation to AEC to Thailand rice industrial.
You will select a chronic disease (I CHOSE COPD- Chronic Obstructive pulmonary disease) of interest to you and write a paper giving an overview of the pathophysiology of this disease, as well as its effect on other organ systems. You will also review one piece of patient education on this disease (this may be taken from an appropriate organization’ s website or other source) and evaluate it for cultural & literacy appropriateness. (please note that the paper will checked for originality using SafeAssign, our online plagiarism checker).
Overview of the chronic disease paper- TOPIC COPD
(Health Assessment class:)
The chronic disease paper will consist of the following sections:
– Introduction – Overview of the pathophysiology of your selected disease (COPD)
– Overview of the effect of the disease on organ system #1 (select an organ system separate from the primary disease process – so if you’re using COPD, don’t discuss the respiratory system – this will be covered in the pathophysiology part above).
– Overview of the effect of the disease on organ system #2 (again, select an organ system separate from the primary disease process).
– Patient education – you will select a patient education handout from a reliable source – you do not need to create your own! So, for hypertension, you might go to the American Heart Association and find a good handout that relates to your topic – for chronic kidney disease, you might look at the National Kidney Foundation – you get the picture. You will review it for cultural and literacy appropriateness, based on the information you’ve learned in the class. You’ll need to include the SMOG score as well – you can use any online calculator/tool to get the SMOG score – there are dozens available just by typing “SMOG score” into any search engine.

GENERAL EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS: Earning and “A” The “A” grade will be assigned if the paper/assignment demonstrates a clear understanding of the elements of the assignment. For example, questions or required elements are discussed, and they are easily located in perusing the paper/assignment.
—- The paper/assignment is well organized, sub headed if appropriate, concise and grammatically correct. The reader is able to clearly distinguish between fact, theory and opinion because the writer never presents opinion as fact or theory and references theory when appropriate.
—– In short, the assignment is pleasurable to read because it flows easily from one part to another, imaginatively applies concepts or theories, demonstrates the insights or struggles of the writer, and is relevant to leadership in a practice profession.
—-An “A” paper/assignment is especially novel and pregnant with potential for further refinement and development. Further, the thoughts and ideas expressed connect the writer to the reader; i.e., the reader feels that he/she knows the writer better than before.
Using the internet, research a contract issue. This can be a breach of contract case or some other contract dispute. Use some of the terminology from the textbook to help you search. Briefly describe the case and the legal issue. What ethical issues are raised in this case, if any?
Incorporate the legal terminology from your textbook where appropriate and relevant. Use academic or legitimate news sources, such as The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc. Please include in your post any links used in your research for your fellow classmates to review and to comment on.
Make sure to comment on at least two classmates’ posts. Make sure your comment is relevant and informative. It is imperative that you demonstrate critical thinking in your own post as well as in your responses to classmates.
In a well-written paper, relate your professional or personal experience in the business world as an employee or employer and an ethical issue you confronted that falls within the realm of employment law. For example, you could write about your experience working long hours as a minor in violation of federal wage and hour laws.
If you have not personally or professionally confronted an issue, consider an issue that could arise within the realm of employment law and describe it. Be sure that your focus is twofold: first, on an area of employment law and second, on a potential ethical issue within that area of law.
Address the following in your paper:
•Identify and clearly define the relevant law, either defining a legal doctrine, provisions of a law, or elements of a specific cause of action.
•Apply facts from your situation to the applicable law, doctrine or cause of action studied.
•Clearly summarize lessons learned from the week as they apply to your fact pattern and make links to the readings and/or module.
•Include new thoughts or ideas based on the module information. This is your reflection/insight which logically would flow from each information point presented.
•Identify any related ethical issues.
Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length, not including the title or references pages. Review the grading rubric, which can be accessed from the Course Information page, and make sure to follow the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements.

Paper details
The quality of the structure of the paragraphs and grammar must convey that you can write effectively. These are essential to the assignment. Writing well-focused paragraphs, good spelling and correct grammar would make your important ideas more accessible to your reader and identify you as a capable professional. To help you in conceptualizing your writing, you should check to make sure that you have satisfied the following criteria that I will use to assess your paper. Take great care with this assignment, as state guidelines require that you must pass the taskstream assignment to receive credit for the course. If you need assistance to improve your writing skills, ask your instructor or go to the Center for Writing Excellence at the Green Library.
Examples/Content: How clearly presented were the examples that you chose included in your writing? Is your description sufficiently elaborated that someone who was not there gets a complete picture of the event/principle? Does your paper show that you really understand the content that you are discussing?
Organization/Clarity: How clear is your paper overall? Do you have a clear point or focused set of points to make? Do the paragraphs show organization and ordering, headings?
Analysis: Why are you selecting these facts/literature?
What is the main point of all your writing? Make your case and be persuasive that you have interpreted these observations correctly and made important insights.
Instructions: Have all the instructions been followed? Is
your paper APA and legible or hard to read for some reason or simply not summarizing or addressing the questions raised in the literature you reviewed?
Thus, the main objective of your TaskStream (5-page Paper/Project that includes list of references):
I. In your introduction identify your main topic assigned to you by instructor (create an outline, think of examples, research ideas, use subheadings, summarize the existing literature, and conclude). Your paper should reflect your critical thinking skills and your understanding of the topic at hand. The specific topic/theme will be assigned to you by your instructor in class.
II. Provide example(s) of how you would apply the particular theory or concept being discussed to the classroom. While writing your paper, think of your future students, including culturally and/or linguistically diverse students.
III. You should write a “conclusion” paragraph. For example, conclude what was the most meaningful aspect of the reading to you and why. Please cite the research literature that you use to write your paper and follow the APA manual for writing rules.
Using the internet, research and analyze a case involving ethical issues surrounding corporate governance from a global position. A common example may be where a corporate board of directors breached one or more duties, such as the duty of loyalty to its shareholders, although there are many other areas where business ethics are at the center of a case that originated at the governance level of an organization.
Briefly describe the facts of the case briefly and the legal issue. Also, discuss the effect of the case from a global business perspective and on society in general.
Incorporate the legal terminology from your textbook where appropriate in both your original post and in your responses to your classmates. Use academic or legitimate news sources, such as The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc. Include the link or links used for your research in your post for your fellow classmates to review and to comment on. Do not repeat cases discussed by another classmate.**

For this project, you have the option to present on a wide range of topics. The presentation must match the theme of the conference, The Art of Empathy, which is also the theme of our course. I have offered a few suggestions below.
The proposals must be approved before the next in the series of assignments is completed. Any future changes to the topic will need my approval before the presentation can be made public.
