You have recently been appointed head of human resources and are now in charge of managing a small team. Your next project is to revamp the compensation and benefits package employees are receiving at your company. Design a plan for the human resource project without the use of MS Project or similar software. Note: You will have to make assumptions or create fictitious data for this assignment. Be clear about these assumptions and data for your professor to follow along.

Write a six to eight (6-8) page paper in which you:

Construct a project charter to revamp the compensation and benefits package.
Design a communication plan for the project.
Define the scope of the project.
Create a work breakdown structure including numbered components. Submit your WBS by creating a table inside your assignment.
Use at least four (4) quality academic (peer-reviewed)resources in this assignment.

Your assignment must:

Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required page length.

Step by Step Instructions:

Students are to select a purpose and reason for giving their presentation as it suits their needs as a student, business person, or citizen. So, if you are an academic and want to do a traditional “speech” this is good! If you are into business and want to hone your skills in sales or marketing–this is good. If you want to work on an issue that you are passionate about, go for it!

Follow the instructions in theory and design from class workshops and literature. You must select a “speech pattern” and create an academic outline as the basis for your presentation. This presentation is not simply redoing your informative style presentation. You must use strategy.

Use five OR MORE sources to add strength to your argument.

After your academic outline is created, work to create any necessary visuals and/or a speaking outline or notes.

For this assignment, write a minimum of 4 paragraphs (each paragraph should have 6–8 sentences) explaining your strategy for completing your final draft based on what you have learned throughout the course and the feedback you have received in intellipath and from your instructor.

Be sure to cover the following:

Paragraph 1
Discuss the feedback you specifically received on your Phase 3 Draft from your instructor (e.g., grammar issues, incomplete thoughts, additional work to your thesis, and so on).
Instructor feedback can be found in the Comments section of the grade book.

Explain how you will adjust your draft based on that feedback. What will you add to your essay to improve it?

Review Chapter 23 in the course text Achieving Excellence in Fundraising, focusing on the importance of gift acknowledgement and saying thank you in fundraising.
Review Chapter 6 in the eBook Nonprofit Essentials: Endowment Building, and view the course media “Resource Development Process: Appreciation.” Focus on ways to appropriately acknowledge gifts and recognize donors.
Review the online article “Expand Your Program: Stewardship,” and think about effective ways to thank major gift donors.
Reflect on the nonprofit organization you are using for your Final Project, and think about what factors might be important to consider before choosing appreciation strategies for donors.
Think about appreciation strategies for donors who give small to medium gifts and for those who give major gifts. Then select at least two appreciation strategies you would use with donors from each group (for a total of four strategies).
Think about whether a material thank you gift is the best appreciation strategy for your fundraising cause.
