Select a company and assess how it uses data in marketing its products or services. Research a sizable company or search the Internet for a company’s marketing department and specifically, address the following considerations:
What data does the company capture and have available?
What additional data does the company acquire from outside data vendors and why?
What specific insights or information do companies hope to extract from the available data?

During Week 1 you invented a product – this week you will create a chart showing price vs quality or two other factors that impact your product.

Communicable Disease
Choose a communicable disease from the New York State Department of Health (http://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/). Discuss the public health tools (barrier protections, immunizations, screening and case finding, treatment, contact treatment, quarantine, isolation, etc.) that can be used to prevent the further spread of the disease. Is it possible for this disease to be eradicated? Why or why not?
Which organizations are responsible for preventing the spread of this disease in your community? Briefly explain how these stakeholders are responsible for controlling communicable diseases using the public health tools identified for the chosen condition.
