Souls of Black Folk

Read the entire book. Then focus on the \”Forethought\” and FOUR sections. Explain what the chapters are about and how they are connected to the forethought. Next, find FIVE academic sources on The Souls of Black Folk and describe each, explaining how those historians have engaged the work. It is important that your paper be one cohesive essay, integrating all of the sources and the book. Do not just list the articles. Your best bet would be to use the library website to find academic articles. Academic articles are those published by academic journals. The librarian, with whom you can chat online, can help you find appropriate sources. Use Chicago style citations with footnotes. A video explaining footnotes is posted under \”Modules/ Tools.\” There are also links to Chicago formatting and how to determine academic sources. The paper needs to be at least 1500 words.

HR Strategies

Monsanto Company-When completing the \”Internal and External Analysis\” assignment earlier you were tasked with creating three strategic goals for your chosen company. From this assignment forward, you will be choosing one of those goals and carrying it through the strategic management process. Feel free to rewrite and improve the goal, but make your choice wisely. It will impact many of the upcoming project assignments. This assignment will require you to develop a staffing plan to attract, develop, and retain good employees to work on your chosen goal. It\’s very important that you\’re linking all of your choices to how it will help you accomplish that goal. Everything should be custom fit to that goal and that will be a big portion of the grading. Internal and External Analysis

Monsanto Company*Creating an effective strategic management plan relies heavily on analysis of both your existing company and factors in the business environment that impact decision making. This is an essential part of the business process because it allows management to keep informed on changes and the information gathered is used to set goals and determine the future for the company. This assignment will require you to analyze the internal and external environment of your company and then use the information you\’ve gathered to set strategic goals for the business. For the assignment this week, write a paper and complete the following:Create a SWOT analysis for Monsanto that is specific and explains choices thoroughly. Avoid being generic with your choices. Relate them directly to the industry and business that you\’ve chosen. A minimum of four points should be present under each heading. The internal portion of the SWOT could include quality of human capital, product lines, employee relations, and current internal business processes. Outside research is recommended. The external portion of the SWOT could consider sociocultural factors, competitors, technology trends, suppliers\’ potential legal issues, and even changes in the economy. Again, outside research is recommended.Based off of the information that you\’ve gathered, create three strategic goals for Monsanto company. The strategic goals that you create here will set the stage for all of the course project assignments ahead. It\’s extremely important to choose long-term goals that fit with where you think the company should be headed and make use of the information you\’ve gathered. Feel free to reach out to your instructor for guidance about creating the strategic goals, since they\’re essential to the ongoing course project.

Analytical Essay

I am not picky on the topic of the essay. Maybe provide me with a few choices for the essay so that I may ensure that it matches what we cover in the course.ANALYSIS PAPERWorld Civilization IIWrite a five page analytical paper about an event, person, or persons from World history. Select material suggested from our textbook or from other sources that you discover. You could look in the library or on-line. This is not a research paper which means that you do not need to secure many sources for this analysis. You could choose to compare and contrast; perhaps looking at the Ming Empire and the Ottomans or look at competing Meso-American societies. You could analyze development of religion or the significance of technology in trade or warfare.Whatever you choose, be sure to include your opinions, your analysis, and your interpretation. One way to construct such a paper would be to write an introductory paragraph and include a theme that describes your topic. Then you could write a couple of pages about some of the key points of your topic. For example if you choose to look at the Ming and the Ottmans, look at isolationism and expansionism.Be sure to cite any quotes or concepts that you borrow from others to avoid plagiarism. Include a one page bibliography, listing your sources. Use the Chicago Manual of Style format ( received in class) for either foot or end notes and the bibliography. You do not need a title page or concern yourself about the Chicago requirements for margins.Basic rules:Use 12 point fontDouble spaceInclude both notes (either foot or end) and a bibliography-you do not need a title page or need to worry about marginsUse Word format

observe a

The goal of this exercise is to observe a \”cultural scene\” as an anthropologist would (i.e. based on everything you have learned in the course to-date). The student will analyze their observations in terms of themes from the subfield of cultural anthropology such as how it helps frame our societies (family, lifestyle, lineage, language and communication) and, in some ways, its evolution.:Culture as we have discussed in our readings is an incredible advantage that has allowed humans to enter almost every niche in nature. The development and maintenance of culture is what sets humans apart from other species. Culture varies by time and location. For this assignment, students will be observing a particular setting for 25 minutes, writing up your observations, and then analyzing them. Listen to APUS anthropologist Donna Rosh give you some pointers for people-watching as an anthropologist (or read the script).Directions for 4-6 page Assignment:1. Choose a time and location for where/when you are going to conduct your observations of an ethnographic scene (mall, public transportation, coffee shop, etc.).2. Go to the specified location and proceed with your observations. Find a place to sit quietly and to simply watch what is going on. Do not talk to or interview people during this time.3. Take notes (handwritten recommended). Include details about the scene itself (time of day, lighting, furniture, plants, sounds, temperature, smell, vibe/energy, etc), details about the people around you (their characteristics, their behavior).4. When your 25 minutes are finished, leave the scene. In a quiet place, fill out your notes. At this time, you should start to think about concepts that you\’ve learned in class that fit with your observations. This step is critical.5. Write a 4-6 page reaction paper about your observations Your paper should:• Define and discuss culture using our course materials• Include a ‘thick description’ of the location with clear detail of your observations• Analyze your observations, identifying four anthropological concepts that fit your observations. Define the concept and analyze how it fits your observations.• Include your field notes at the endWhat is an anthropological concept? Anthropological concepts are anthropological terms and ideas. Examples of some that we\’ve studied include: ethnocentrism, ethnicity, reciprocity, kinship, language and communication. You should not use this exact list of four concepts and expect them to fit your observation scene. You may, of course, use others – depending on what concepts are relevant to your observation. Lists of additional key concepts can be found in Lessons, in the Lesson Overview section. We also have two examples to share with you from APUS anthropologists- one from Jennifer Cramer\’s fieldwork in The Gambia and one from James Turner\’s fieldwork in Mexico. One common misstep is to apply the four subfields of anthropology or to apply the four parts of the definition of culture.• Conclude with a discussion of and reflection on your experience of the situation. For example you might write how you felt when you started to detect a pattern in characteristics and/or behavior.DisclaimerOriginality of attachments will be verified by Turnitin. Both you and your instructor will receive the results.Writing ExpectationsAll written submissions should be submitted using APA formatting. In part, this includes:• Typewritten in double-spaced format with a readable style and font and submitted inside the electronic classroom.• Arial 11 or 12-point font or Times New Roman styles.• Page margins Top, Bottom, Left Side and Right Side = 1 inch, with reasonable accommodation being made for special situations and online submission variances
