America’s Smoke Screen Presentation

Create a 10- to 15-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation that traces the rise and fall of the tobacco industry’s advertising campaigns from the 1920s to the present.

Develop a presentation that outlines strategies the tobacco industry used to improve its image and convince the public of its sincerity.

Mariea how do you incorporate these attributes of emotional intelligence into your life?

Do you find that your terminal and instrumental values have an impact on what you view as success in your career? In my experience, my values play a major role in how I view my career success. Personal relationships matter more to me than money. My idea of career success is having the daily opportunity to motivate and inspire my students. If I valued money more than relationships; I would be conflicted in a career as a teacher and would most likely not view myself as successful.

Class as you consider emotional intelligence, do you use one of the methods – self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management? If so, what method and why? If not, why not? This this question counts for participation.
