Explain the interdependence of life in your ecosystem by examining its organisms (you can choose how you would like to do this – presentation, paper, etc.)

Create a diagram in which you illustrate the energy flow among organisms of a food chain in a particular ecosystem. (See Ch. 20 of the textbook for details and examples) If you choose to use images of the organisms in your created diagram, cite EACH image you include in APA format.

Select an ecosystem, such as a temperate forest, desert biome, or the Everglades.

Explain  the interdependence of life in your ecosystem by examining its organisms (you can choose how you would like to do this - presentation, paper, etc.)

Include the following in your assignment:
Make (do not copy and paste one from the internet) a food web of the organisms that can be found in your ecosystem.
Label major organisms that live in your selected ecosystem: P for producers, C for consumers, and D for decomposers. 
Choose 2 food chains from your food web above and describe the following:
Name of the plants and animals from that food chain
Describe what they eat
Describe what eats them
Describe briefly how they are adapted to the ecosystem 
Choose 2 organisms from above and describe the following in detail (in their own paragraphs or slides):
Identify the structure and function of the main organs 
Indicate why they are suited for that environment.   
Describe the ecosystem's population growth and regulation through community interactions. 
Evaluate potential hazards caused by humans that might affect your ecosystem's stability, such as environmental pollution. 
Include labels and associated details in the diagram.
 
You should have a minimum of 3 references for this assignment.

In the business world, the final phase of design thinking is where a solution strategy is selected and a business case is made for the viability of the chosen solution. If the previous phases have been enacted diligently, the proposed solution has a very good chance of leading to an innovation.

By now, you have identified an issue or problem in your workspace that can be improved in some tangible way. You have generated a list of ideas that could lead to this improvement, and collaborated with your classmates to gain alternate perspectives and solutions. It is now time to step back from this process and evaluate how design-thinking can be applied to real-world business problems at your organization.

For this Application Assignment, imagine you have an opportunity to meet with the VP of Customer Services. You have 15 minutes to present on the value of the department’s use of design thinking to come up with a solution to a problem the team is experiencing.

Submit a Power-point-style presentation with a pitch script in the Notes section outlining your pitch for the use of design thinking to solve a problem. Be sure to include the following, with any other relevant information that you think is essential to an effective pitch:

    • Identify the potential customers or end users that would be positively affected if the organization adopted the more formal design thinking process.
    • Explain whether design thinking could be effectively integrated into the organization, and why?
    • How would you convince stakeholders within the organization of its value?

When you think of design in the business context, do you think of the appealing packaging of a product like the iPhone or an iconic logo like the one on the Coca-Cola bottle? Design thinking, in the business context, refers not only to these aesthetic dimensions, but to a creative-thinking process that carefully considers user needs, financial possibilities, and many other factors. The design-thinking method is a new way to bring creativity to each step of the product or service development model. As you read this article, consider how creativity, when brought to every step of business processes, can lead to innovation.

I already have around a 12 page paper. I would just like for you to tweek some of papers inferstructer. Originally I thought it was supposed to be over one film, but it’s supposed to be over two. I would like you to interpret reservoir dogs into the paper and talk about “Rhetorical analysis” most of it is already done. How did the Egyptians view death.

This project has two parts. Benjamin Franklin once said “there are only two things certain in life – death and taxes”. In this first project you will examine these two topics. Taxes First, you will review the first chapter in your textbook that highlights Hammurabi’s code, then watch the video in module related to the code, and finally review some of the ancient code. What do the laws of Hammurabi’s era tell us about the culture in ancient Babylon? How did one’s social status impact the punishment imposed? Do you think there are similarities between the the ancient system of justice and our own? Why or why not? Death The Egyptian civilization embraced life and wanted it to go on for eternity, so they developed an intricate culture around death (especially for their Kings or Pharaohs). The culture involved the belief that the afterlife allowed for a materialistic and physical element and that contributed to the rituals. First, after watching the short film on Egyptian Death Culture and the Mexican film “Hasta Los Huesos” and reading the chapter in the textbook related to ancient Egypt, reflect on the how death is perceived by different cultures and value systems. What do you think the filmmaker in “Hasta” was saying about death? How did the Egyptians view death? Finally, does your family have a death culture? Then, select one of the six academic disciplines we study in Humanities. This assignment to prepare and submit an annotated bibliography with sources used in the construction of the Final Paper.

The purpose of the annotated bibliography is to assist you in developing research analysis skills including critical thinking, writing, and literature research skills. The annotated bibliography should include a paragraph for each source containing the following information:

  • Name of the article, including the complete bibliographic citation, using APA format.
  • Summary/abstract of the article – annotation (sometimes it is helpful to ask yourself the following questions in synthesizing the information:

    • What was done? (e.g., an experimental study investigating the interaction of short term memory and attention)
