Briefly explain four sources research.

Choose and photocopy/print FOUR articles and/or book chapters that will help you answer the research questions about your topic. Do not use the source that you used for your response paper. These four sources must be ones that you listed in your Research Proposal Paper, and that I approved. (If you would like to switch one or more sources, you must show me the new source and get my approval.) Your sources must be several pages long. You will use these four sources, along with your interview with a professor and the source you used for your Response Paper, when you write your final research paper. These sources must be at least three pages in length, not counting charts, diagrams, or figures, and must explore the controversial aspects of your topic or take a position regarding the controversy.
While reading the selected source, take notes on note cards. On each note card, write down one important quotation OR one fact/idea that you wish to use in your paper. On each note card, you must include the author’s last name and the page number on which the quotation, fact, or idea appeared (if the source has page numbers—some web sources do not).
Using the articles and/or book chapters you have selected, write FOUR one-page to one-and-a-half-page casebook entry for each article or book chapter. Include a photocopy of each source when you turn them in. As you write, keep in mind that your instructor and your classmates are your audience. As far as is possible, write in a way that is understandable to people who are not specialists in your field.

Identifying themes in your literature is very important because it helps you create a scaffold for your literature review.

Assignment 2: Identifying Themes

Submit the following assignment to the M4: Assignment 2 Dropbox by Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Identifying themes in your literature is very important because it helps you create a scaffold for your literature review. Without knowing themes, patterns, and trends, the literature review usually reads like a meaningless list with no connection between one study and the next. Also, without identification of themes, there is no appreciation of how scholars are actually having a conversation on paper regarding their discoveries.

By now you have taken part in multiple exercises and assignments which were intended to assist you in clarifying the themes you will pull together in and through your literature review. Now is the time to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), and to take all of the preparatory work you have done and to actualize it in a draft of your literature review.

For this assignment, you will develop a Title page, Abstract, and a References page. Articulate your main research/focal question as the opening for your paper. Be sure it is specific, researchable, and important to the field. Then go on to list a detailed outline of the body of the paper, (including all headings and subheadings). Be sure to format your entire paper, including the headings and subheadings according to APA style.

Calculate the total price based on several key parts required to build a state-of-the-art gaming computer. The user will have the option of selecting different parts.

Homework 2
Instructions
In this homework, you will design a program to perform the following task:
Calculate the total price based on several key parts required to build a state-of-the-art gaming computer. The user will have the option of selecting different parts. For example, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Mac OS/X for Operating systems, 4 GB, 8 GB or 12 GB for RAM and 15”,17” or 22” Monitors.
There are 5 components of your submission including:
Program Description- A detailed, clear description of the program you are building.
Analysis- Demonstrates your thought process and steps used to analyze the problem. Be sure to include the required input and output and how you will obtain the required output from the given input? Also, include your variable names and definitions. Be sure to describe the necessary formulas and sample calculations that might be needed. You should talk about how you determined your computer part prices.
Test plan – Prepare at least 3 sets of input data (Test data) along with their expected output for testing your program.  Your test data can be presented in the form of a table as follows (note: feel free to adapt to your design)
Flowchart – Provide a flowchart for your design. You can use Word, Powerpoint, Visio or any software you have available that will allow to draw shapes and connectors.
Pseudocode- Provide pseudocode of your overall design that fulfills the requirements of the project
All of these components should be placed in word document for submission.
Additional details about the program you need to write:
You should research current prices of the computer parts on Internet sites such as amazon.com or newegg.com.
You can assume a computer will consist of the following components:
CPU
Case
Power supply
Motherboard
Hard Drive
RAM
DVD
Sound Card
Monitor
Graphics Card
Operating System
I would recommend you keep the option choices limited to 3 different components, or your program will really grow fast. For example, you could provide options for the Operating System (Windows 7, Windows 8 or Mac OS/X), the RAM (4 MB, 8 MB, 12 MB) and the Hard Drive Size (500 GB, 1 TB, 1.5 TB) and leave everything else as a baseline. These are just examples. I leave it up to you to determine which components you want the user to select options.  Be sure your prices are realistic.
There is much flexibility for this project.  You should reach a unique design. I recommend keeping it simple at first and then add more user options if you have time.
Example application test data:
Test Case # Input Expected Output
1 Baseline Cost: $500
CPU Option 1 (2.2 GHz,$400)
Monitor Option 2 (Dell,$200)
RAM Option 1 (4 GB,$89)
(Total price would be $500 + cost of CPU+ cost of Monitor + Cost of Ram)
Total Price = $1189
2 Your Computer selection options Your output
3 Your Computer selection options Your output
Submission requirements:
Your completed assignment should be saved as Word document and submitted to your assignment area no later than the due date listed in the syllabus. Your document should be neat, well-written with minimal grammatical and spelling errors. Your name should be clearly listed on the first page along with the class/section, professor and due date. Your document should contain page numbers at the bottom of each page. Single or double space line formatting is acceptable.
