Students will submit it a paper, between 12–18 pages, properly formatted using the APA format. Students are expected to utilize electronic means such as databases and technology available through the library to research relevant issues. Students will be expected to integrate and apply various theories discussed during the semester and to explain why these theories are important to business and accounting literature. You will need to make sure to identify the appropriate research question, identify key terms for performing electronic searches, organize your data, obtain data or information from multiple sources and integrate it into a cohesive paper. The analysis must be well developed and consider stakeholder(s) positions. The paper must demonstrate mastery of basic writing mechanics. The paper must be clear, concise, organized, and persuasive and supported with

Write a 10-page research paper on a topic of your choice that explores a facet of the relationship between line and color in a given corpus of work, and/or pastel painting in the eighteenth or nineteenth centuries. The chief aim of this paper is to give you an opportunity to delve more deeply into the material of the course, but you are welcome to propose topics related to the scope of the class. For example, you could choose to investigate a series by John Russell, an eighteenth-century British pastellist. Your subject, however, should be more focused than a given artist’s pastel oeuvre. You must develop an original argument or thesis that can be further investigated and ultimately supported by conducting research. There are many different directions a research paper might take: for example, you might investigate the reception or patronage of a specific work or series, or pose a question about an artist’s working methods during a certain moment, or relate your argument to the socio-political context of the time. You may choose a thematic topic that considers specific works by several artists, or you may choose to focus on a subset of one artist’s work. Whatever direction you choose, you should make sure to have a clear, arguable thesis. *bibliography should be composed of scholarly sources. This might include exhibition catalogues, monographs, articles from peer-reviewed journals, and texts on museums’ websites. Wikipedia is not an appropriate source. Internet databases such as JSTOR, the Bibliography of the History of Art, and Worldcat are often very helpful. Note, these are not a substitute for books! Likewise, not all books are appropriate for this project—evaluate your sources with a critical eye. This paper is for a class focused on color as line in French 18th century in Patel Painting I would like to use the painter Edgar Degas I find it interesting that his objects are turned away from the viewer for example the ballet dancer series (which I love) most ballerinas are not looking to the Painter so it seems as we are peeking through their world
Policy Paper As part of the requirements of this class you will each be required to write a 10-12 page paper where you discuss a specific policy area using the policy process model discussed in class and in your textbook. The policy areas from which you may choose are listed below. Economic policy Energy policy Environmental policy Foreign policy Healthcare policy Tax policy Welfare Policy For each policy area, you will need to specify which particular element of the policy you plan to discuss. Your paper should include a discussion of the following elements (examples of some questions you may want to answer appear in parentheses beside the element): • An introduction to your policy. (What area does it pertain to? What’s the problem or issue? Why is it important?) • A discussion of how your policy made it onto the government’s agenda. (Who were the policy entrepreneurs? Was there a particular event that galvanized public support, etc.? What caused this policy issue to be chosen?) • The key factors in its formulation. (Were there hurdles? If so, what were they? What method of policy formulation was used?) • The specifics of its implementation. (Which level of government was responsible for implementing the policy? Why? What were your policy’s outputs?) • An evaluation of your policy. (Did your policy work? If not, why? Was it due to formulation or implementation problems? What were your policy’s impacts?) • Whether or not you feel a change in policy is necessary. (Should the policy be changed? Terminated? If so, why?)

Also describe its current freight flows and future freight flows after implementation of one or more of your recommended transportation improvement projects would be executed. Use a multi-year (more than one year) planning horizon. Support your Plan with theories, concepts, and best practices from the course textbook and scholarly Paper: Minimum of 20 and maximum of 25 pages, including title page and bibliography, Word, APA Style Example Template for the TIP Paper: 1.Demographic information about the organization: industry classification; markets, locations, # of employees, products & services, suppliers, other pertinent information 2.How does this supply chain support the organization’s strategic goals? 3.What are the strengths of this supply chain? 4.What are the weaknesses of this supply chain? 5.What metrics does the organization utilize for its supply chain? 6.What transportation initiatives and innovations has it implemented? 7.What transportation initiatives and innovations should it consider? 8.What should be the next step be to improve the supply chain? 9.Provide details to support your conclusions as necessary.
