Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these normative theories as methods for making moral decisions in practical cases.

Invent a practical circumstance that illuminates differences among the three approaches to normative theory; a circumstance in which the duties, consequences, and virtues do not align with each other. It does not need to be a grand, controversial social issue; an everyday moral dilemma will make the conflict clearer. Just look for an example where doing your duty might cause lasting harm, or where caring about people requires breaking the rules.
Write a paper addressing this topic, supporting your statements with credible research on the three approaches to normative theory.
Begin by describing a concrete situation that calls for someone to make an ethical decision about what to do. Choosing your example carefully will make it easier to draw an interesting contrast between the theoretical applications. Be sure to describe the situation with enough detail to provide adequate information for arriving at a responsible choice.
Next, think about the kinds of normative theory that could be applied to the situation you have chosen. If we are not to surrender to ethical relativism, what should guide our decision hereduties, outcomes, or virtue? You should select the approaches in a way that heightens the dilemma of deciding on a course of action that would be right or wrong. Support your presentation by considering alternative ways of applying each theory to the case. Use your example to compare and contrast the theoretical approaches in practical terms.
Finally, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these normative theories as methods for making moral decisions in practical cases. Use what you have written about the application of each theory to your example as evidence of the merits of each way of thinking about everyday choices. What makes the most sense, and how would you decide yourself? State your own position on which normative theory works best, and defend that position with clear arguments in its support.

Discuss how would you describe the songs tempos and rhythmic grooves.

History of the Blues (MUS 270) Fall 2015
Music Description and Reading Response Assignment
Assignment: This assignment consists of two related parts: 1) a music
description and comparison, and 2) a reading summary and response. Both are
described below.

Part I: Music Description and Comparison: Write a 1- to 2-page, detailed description
and comparison of one of the pair of songs listed below. Your description and
comparison should be as detailed as possible, but the details should be organized to
reflect their relevance to understanding the historical importance of the examples.
Song Pairs (choose one):
1. Bessie Smiths St. Louis Blues and Gus Cannons Jonestown Blues
2. Jimmie Rodgers Blue Yodel No. 1 (T is for Texas) and Blind Lemon
Jeffersons Black Snake Moan
3. Blind Willie Johnsons Nobodys Fault But Mine and Lonnie Johnsons
Crowing Rooster
The details you observe should be guided by the following questions:
1. What instruments are used in the examples and how are they played?
2. What are the qualities of the singers voices and how are they used in conjunction
with the lyrics?
3. What is notable about the lyrics to the songs, and are there connections between
the lyrics and the music?
4. Do the songs dynamics and textures change throughout the songs?
5. How would you describe the songs tempos and rhythmic grooves? Are they
important elements to the songs?
6. Are there instrumental solos in the songs? What qualities are demonstrated during
those instrumental solos and how do they fit into the songs as a whole? If there are
no solos, does that seem to be an important part of the songs styles?
7. How are the songs organized? Are there contrasting sections or parts that repeat?
8. If there are videos or photographs of the performers, how do the performers act and
move on stage? How are they dressed? Are there connections between these visual
cues and the music?
9. What is the overall emotional affect of the songs and what are the most important
elements in creating that affect?
*Note: Do not organize your description by just going through these
questions one by one. Organize your response by the relevance of the details to your
song; some of these questions will yield interesting answers for your songs, and some
will not.

Reading Response Assignment
Assignment: Write a 1- to 2-page summary of one of the course readings listed
below. Your summary should be in your own words (not quotes from the readings), and
should focus on identifying and explaining the authors thesis and the evidence
they use to support it. Do not just write a first they said this, and then they say that
type of paper; instead, summarize the reading as a whole.
Readings:
? Robert Palmer, Deep Blues (1981). Chapter 1.
? Elijah Wald, Escaping the Delta: Robert Johnson and the Invention of the Blues
(2004) Chapter 2,3, or 4.
McClary, Thinking blues. PP 32-49.

Note #1: In your reading summary, include a paragraph in which you
use one or both of the songs you described and compared in Part I of this
assignment to help explain the authors thesis. You can use your song
example(s) either to help prove the authors thesis, or to provide a
counterexample. Be sure to include some important detail from your analysis in
this paragraph.
Important Note #2: In your reading summary, include some context that indicates
how your reading selection fits into the larger work of which your selection is a
part. For example, if you choose to summarize Chapter 1 of Wald, indicate how
Chapter 1 fits into the other Wald chapters that have been assigned.
Formatting and Length: Use 12-point type in a standard font (Arial or Times), doublespaced,
with 1 margins. If you go over the suggested maximum length of 2 pages for
either part, you will have points deducted under the writing mechanics portion of the
rubric. So, write concisely and without repetition to stay under 2 pages.

Attention, Please note that you are not supposed to upload any files with additional pages (extra instructions) until Administration informs you on the payment receipt.
Please note that this order was placed by one of our valued Loyal Customers.
Your work will be checked with the highest quality standard expectation.
Make sure to dedicate maximum attention to this assignment.

Demonstrate the ability to assist in the creation of an effective project plan.

*I will attach that template

The BSIT capstone class requires the creation of a portfolio of your work, which has the purposes of reflecting your prior professional achievements and also demonstrating the competencies you have developed to your future employers. This portfolio is called Integrated Technology Assessment, which requires you to prepare Learning Statements that explain how you have met each of the 13 BSIT program outcomes (these program outcomes are given in the IT course syllabi in a matrix form). The learning statements could be based on classwork or on application of knowledge in a practical scenario. You can download a sample ITA portfolio HERE. As can be seen in the sample, each program outcome in the ITA is associated with three performance indicators/characteristics, and students of the capstone class are required to develop one learning statement for each of the performance indicators.

In this discussion you are required to discuss the learning statement(s) produced for BSIT program outcome 12: Demonstrate the ability to assist in the creation of an effective project plan:
Use this Integrated Technology Assessment template (HERE) to prepare your learning statement(s) for program outcome 12. Choose at least one of the three associated performance indicators and develop corresponding learning statement(s).

Substantiate your learning statement(s) with a supporting example from your classwork or prior experience.

Discuss structural grid positions of beams and columns,

basically, I have to design an autocad 3 storge building I have done that I just need to write a report about it. below is what I have to include in my report. I will send you my design.

You are invited to provide alternative conceptual structural designs as individual designers, and your tasks are summarised below.
You should produce at least one structural proposal to satisfy the Client requirements.
You should record your solutions using clear, legible annotated sketches and state briefly which solution you may prefer and explain why. At this stage you should give consideration to:
structural materials to be used,
structural grid positions of beams and columns,
lateral stability of the building by indicating how the structure will resist horizontal actions,
directions of roof and floor spans.
In order to get an idea of the feasibility of the member positions you have chosen you should now undertake a preliminary sizing exercise for the main structural elements.
Finally, you should check that your design complies with the client’s requirements and prepare a report to communicate your ideas to the client.
