(THIS SECTION IS NOT REQUIRED, but this is info you need to answer. YOU DO NOT NEED TO WRITE AN OPENING, AND YOU SHOULD NOT CUT AND PASTE THIS INFO INTO YOUR PAPER). Organize the research for your paper around the research question(s)/hypotheses listed below in the appendices. Review the APA manual and find peer-reviewed, empirical research articles and the mutual fund websites for examples of how to report the results for your mutual fund. Also ANSWER within the paper:
The SRI/BRI mutual fund reviewed is Discuss the practices employed in both types of screening process that the mutual fund has undertaken and compare the investment returns of the mutual fund to the correspondingly sized secular index funds. What are the 5-year (January 1, 2011- December 31, 2015) rates of return after expenses of your SRI or BRI fund, and did it earn as much as or more than the correspondingly sized secular index funds (e.g., S&P 500 Index {Fidelity Spartan 500 Index Fund Class Inv (FUSEX? Collect, present, analyze, and critically evaluate the financial data as it relates to an SRI/BRI FUND you have not written about in any past course during your academic career.
Your goal is to answer the following three questions:
1. Is the five-year rates of return, after expenses, from 2011 through 2015, after expenses, of screened SRI or BRI fund earn as much as or more than the correspondingly sized, unscreened, after expenses, FUSEX?
2. Are the 5-year rates of return of the SRI or BRI funds within 1% of the total returns of all correspondingly sized secular index funds (FUSEX), which postulates that investors would be willing to take a loss of at least 1% to make it worthwhile to invest with their conscience?
3. Does your fund have more than or less than 30 stocks within its portfolio, thus reflecting its level of diversification? How many stocks are invested in.
4. How many different screens does your mutual fund include, and what are they? (This should be answered in the Social Screening Research section of your paper). Categorize each of the screens as to whether they represent an example of a positive or negative screen, and discuss the implications of the choice of screening method on fund performance.
Financial Screening Research
Review the practices employed in the mutual funds screening process and compare its investment returns to the benchmarks. Collect, present, analyze, and critically evaluate financial data as it relates to an SRI/BRI FUND that you have not written about in any past course during your academic career. Consult the fund companys prospectus and its 10k. State the Funds Investment Objective(s), Minimum Initial Investment, Minimum Subsequent Investment, Fees, Commission/Sales Charge, Redemption Fee, Management Fees, 12 b-1 Fee, Expense Ratio, Years of Manager in Position and experience, and if the fund has a professional investment management team. Include the Portfolio Turnover Rate from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015, Investment Policies and Risks (e.g., market, business, financial, and currency risk), any Unusual Problems/Risks (e.g., legal, ethical, management), services provided by the fund, share classes and types, asset allocation by sector, the funds toll-free telephone number, and how you obtained a copy of the funds prospectus.
Social Screening Research
Review the practices employed in the mutual funds screening process and answer how many different screens does your mutual fund include, and what are they? Categorize each of the screens as to whether they represent an example of a positive or negative screen, and discuss the implications of the choice of screening method on fund performance. What problem does your fund solve for? What is the purpose for your fund? How does your fund answer these issues?
Analysis & Results
[Data analyses Report results with discussion (interpretation, speculation, etc.)]:
Give appropriate desrptive information.

Include performance over 5 years from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015, Return on Equity (ROE), and BETA. To do so, GO to http://finance.yahoo.com/q?sFUSEX, CHARTS Interactive, and Comparison tab. Enter your fund, go to custom date range symbol and punch in dates of January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2015, and add the DOW or Nasdaq depending on the size of your fund.
Identify any assumptions of statistical tests and address any violation of those assumptions.
Make decisions based on the results of the statistical analysis. For example, are the results statistically significant? Include relevant test statistic and p values.
See the APA manual regarding how to present results in text, tables, and figures.
Present sufficient information so the reader can make an independent judgment regarding interpretation.
Evaluation of Findings
[This section is used to report briefly what your findings mean. Interpret results in light of the theories (i.e. Modern Portfolio Theory versus Stakeholder Theory, etc). Describe whether the results obtained were expected given the literature and provide potential explanations for unexpected or conflicting results. Take care to avoid drawing conclusions beyond what can be interpreted directly from the study results.]
DELETE THE FOLLOWING (?): Implications, Recommendations, and Conclusions
[Begin the discussion with a brief review of the problem statement, purpose, method, limitations, and ethical dimensions, and conclude the introduction with a brief overview of the fund.]
Implications
[Discuss each research question and (when appropriate) hypothesis individually, and draw logical conclusions. Note: support all conclusions with the research findings and avoid drawing conclusions that are beyond the scope of your results. Discuss how any potential limitations may have affected the interpretation of the results.]
Recommendations
[Present all recommendations for practical applications. Note: support all recommendations with the research findings and a minimum of two peer-reviewed articles. Present recommendations for future research.]

You are to write the paper in such a way as to answer the questions/issues below. However, do not include the list on your paper. Instead, let the items guide the content expressed in your paper, which should be in typical paragraph form.State the research problem or issue in the study.State the hypothesis/questions or objectives. Were they stated clearly? What questionnaires/survey instruments were used to answer the problem? What was the population used in the study? Was there a sample used? If so, how was the sample selected? How many were in the sample? What were the statistical techniques (Examples: mean, median, mode, ANOVA, MANOVA, regression analysis, etc.) used to analyze the data?Summarize the results. How clearly were the results presented? What are the limitations of the study? Are they stated?Summarize the conclusion(s). Are the conclusions presented clearly? Does the data support the conclusions? Does the researcher over generalize the findings? How can the results and conclusions presented in this study be applied in your particular field of study or work environment?Organizational culture and communication• After a brief introductory sentence. Tell whether the title is appropriate to the focus of the study.• State the problem. Is the problem clearly stated? Does the problem have a theoretical rational? How significant is the problem studied in the research?• Is there a review of the literature? If so, is the literature relevant? Summarize (in a couple of sentences) the review of the literature.• Fully and completely describe the research method that was used to attack and answer the problem. Was the research method used to solve the problem qualitative or quantitative, or both? What instruments were used to answer the problem? Was there a sample used? If so, how was the sample selected?• State the hypothesis/questions or objectives. Were they stated clearly?• Are there any probable sources of error that might influence the results of the study? If so, have they been controlled?• What were the statistical or evaluative (quantitative/qualitative) techniques used to analyze the data? If so, were they appropriate? Note: There are many scholarly articles in appropriate journals that inform your topic. However, not all of them will describe research that evaluates data. Make sure that your selected article includes the evaluation/analysis of data. If you are unsure, this is the time to contact your professor and discuss it.• Summarize the results. How clearly were the results presented?• What are the limitations of the study? Are they stated?• Summarize the conclusion(s). Are the conclusions presented clearly? Does the data support the conclusions? Does the researcher over generalize the findings?• How can the results and conclusions presented in this study be applied in your particular field of study or work environment?

Evidence based teaching in vocational education- field study in marketing- real projects rise motivation and understanding

In an 8 weeks lasting field study in vocational education two groups of students (26 and 23) were taught in the field of marketing. Both had to plan a marketing campaign (project based learning). One group only had to plan a fictional campaign. The other group had to plan a real campaign, which will be realized after it -> real project.Interviews and observations as well as questionnaires showed , that the group with the real project was much more motivated and achieved higher understanding and better abilities. A real projects boosts self confidence and minimized fear of failing after graduation in a real job.A short questionaire (qualitative) for the interviews must be created, fictional interviews must be summarized, a short questionaire (quantitative) must be created and fictional results must be evaluated shortly with excel. Obsersvations must be written.Result is that real projects in vocational education should be preferred.Real projects helps students gain deeper knowledge in this field and attracts students more to the filed of marketing while fictional projects can\’t…

Sociology

Discuss examples of when deviance isnt a crime. (think piercings, tattoos, picking your nose…). Give examples AND justifications. Share experiences if you wish. Can you think of what we consider to be deviant to change over time?

Cyberpsychology and eHealth

Review the phenomenon of online social networking for health and wellbeing (i.e. You can use any social network platform you like e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, etc).
In your report, you must generally highlight both the potential value and limitations of online social networking sites and the risks associated with online interpersonal communication.
In your report you must specifically address the following:
Argue how the use of online social networking may enhance, and/or affect, every day social interaction to promote good health and wellbeing. Include an argument for the necessity of these services; how they are provided (e.g. text only info or other means of engagement, e.g. motivational videos or photos), and any problems this technology may need to overcome. Discuss the motivations for using these services and its popularity amongst various age groups. Support your opinions with scholarly references from journal articles and other peer reviewed publications (e.g. health reports or policy papers that evaluate social networking for health issues).
Evaluate 3 online social networking health focused sites/groups:
– Describe whether the group/site you have chosen is well designed for its intended users (e.g.
does it contain useful information, feedback to consumers and support service information?)
– Discuss how useful each social network group/site is social interaction and support for a specific health issue. Do they have any evidence their group is working (Note: number or subscribed members does not equate to efficacy!). If it does not show evidence of how it would help people, how would you propose to find out if you ran the site? (e.g. think measurement of efficacy does belonging indicate health change behaviour over time?)
– Discuss the limitations/negative aspects of the specific group/sites (e.g. do they protect personal information and prevent member harassment?)
Conclude with your thoughts on how you would conduct social networking for a specific health issue, of your choice (it does not have to be in-line with one of the 3 groups/site topics you reviewed) and explain why your social networking group/site is needed. Wherever possible, support your argument with published research.
