How would other authors or theorists react to the arguments made in the reading.

Hi
I am doing a presentation with a friend.
It’s about the The last Kodak moment?

http://www.economist.com/node/21542796

I will be doing from the start of the article and stop before we get to the (A culture of complacency ) then my friend will be taking over and talk about it till the end of the article.

I need to prepare 15 or more discussion questions to ask the student.

Here is more information from what is expected sent by my tutor

Students are expected to start with a brief (5 to 10 minute) presentation of the reading material for that session. Unless your tutor gives you specific issues to address, the presentation should clearly explain the reading material.
What was the purpose of the reading? What points were made?
Why is this information important?
What arguments or evidence did the author(s) use to make their points? Were the arguments and evidence convincing? Why or why not?
The students should also connect the material to a wider context
How does the material relate to previous course readings or lecture/seminar content?
How does the material relate to current news events or happenings in the real world?
Finally, the best sessions will analyse the material and make critical evaluations.
Were there points you disagreed with? Why?
How would other authors or theorists react to the arguments made in the reading?

Presentations must make use of powerpoint so that students can demonstrate their comfort with using technology to assist their presentation. Students are expected to provide a copy of their powerpoint materials to their tutorial tutor. For the paired presentations, students are expected to both contribute equally to the presentation. Students should prepare together and speak for approximately the same amount of time. The total presentation time should still be 5 to 10 minutes. Both students should help lead discussion. Consider the pair presentation as a stepping stone toward your individual presentation.

The presentation is the starting point for the student discussion during the rest of the tutorial time. As part of their presentation mark, students are also expected to lead the discussion of the reading. Be prepared to ask your fellow students discussion questions to create a discussion around the reading. Be prepared with several (15 or more) discussion questions so that the class has plenty to discuss. Remember, you are also marked on how well you lead the discussion.

Finally, students are encouraged to be creative and innovative with their presentations. Powerpoint slides do not need to fit a generic format (do not copy the structure of previous presentations). Feel free to encourage discussion with creative questions. Activities could be developed to encourage active participation from peers

Quality is more important than length, but these are difficult ideas and you may need to use the full five pages to adequately answer the questions.

Write an essay that answers one of the following questions. Your essay should be printed and SINGLE SPACED (so it is easier to grade) and about three to five pages long. Quality is more important than length, but these are difficult ideas and you may need to use the full five pages to adequately answer the questions.

Please use a simple header with your name, the date, and the course name on the top of the first page. Preferred format: Times New Roman, 12 font, one-inch margins on all sides.

A good answer will cite relevant course materials (lecture, readings, discussion, presentations) and outside research if needed, and will focus for the most part on ideas/material covered in the second half of the course (since the midterm).

Feel free to quote course texts to make your points. Use simple in-text citations where appropriate (e.g. Brecht, Measures Taken, p. 6; or Foucault, History of Sexuality, p. 154).

Do not plagiarize or engage in acts of academic dishonesty as you complete the exam. Anyone who violates the rules of academic integrity will face the full consequences as defined under university codes.

Answer one of the following questions:

1. Over the course of the twentieth century, European intellectuals appropriated, revised, and challenged the legacies and ideas of Marx, Nietzsche, and Freud. Which intellectuals, or bodies of thought, offered the most interesting (or most successful) revision of their legacy? Your answer should review at least three different intellectuals and/or sets of ideas.

2. In their attempts to disrupt or transform, or revolutionize mainstream society and philosphy, many of the thinkers and cultural producers weve studied since the midterm have challenged conventional understandings of language as a transparent source of meaning and stability. Which intellectuals, or bodies of thought, offered the most interesting (or most successful) critiques of language? Your answer should review at least three different intellectuals and/or sets of ideas.

Note: this is not a question about how intellectuals used language (though this may be a part of your answer), but rather a question about how intellectuals understood and critiqued language itself as a system of meaning.

*Important Works/Themes to consider for paper:
-Dadaist and Surrealist Manifestos
-Bertolt Brecht: The Measures Taken
-Jean Sartre: Nausea
-Franz Fanon: Wretched of the Earth
-Marcuse: One Dimensional Man
-Michel Foucault: History of Sexuality Volume 1

Briefly appraise where KPO is at in view of modern concepts.

1. In Chapter 3 I need a write up on the fact the researcher only had a small number of respondents – and then discuss in chapter 5 why this may have been the case and what I might do to improve the situation if I were to repeat the exercise. (You could consider whether the researcher asked enough people in the first place, whether you could have done more to prepare potential respondents so that they were more likely to complete his/her questionnaire, whether there was more he/she could have done to make sure that the questions and response choices were clear (for example, did he/she pilot the questionnaire?).

2. In section 2.6 Modern Concepts in Project Management – Briefly appraise where KPO is at in view of modern concepts. . I was advised to look at “Project, programme and portfolio maturity model” and “Project management office”; at least recognising these would help to make the dissertation more up-to-date. These would help to compare KPO with current practice internationally.
For information, KPO has a Programme Mgnt Office which is not quite PMO. Need write up how advanced is its work in PMO and where KPO would fit on the PPP Maturity model and also consideration of further work that could be done to build on my own investigations and findings. there is some write up with definitions in this section and extract from KPO document which you can use to build the discussion on.

Chapter 5. is a bit weak. There are two things in particular suggested to add: firstly, a comparison of questionnaire and interview findings (to what extent did they agree/disagree), secondly, a more definite set of recommendations for the senior management at KPO.

I will attach my work. Please make any editing using track changes mode!

Textbook: Lyman, M. D. (2011). Criminal investigation: The art and the science (6th ed.). Upper Saddle River: Prentice Hall

Describe the data collection plan and instrument or tool you propose using in the attached research.

Using the attached article and dissertation: describe the data collection procedures and the instrument or tool used to collect data in each study. Report on how the author described the instrument’s validity and reliability, and include the reliability coefficient given by the author.
Be sure to review the Literature Reviews (see attachment) document, paying particular attention to the primary level of reporting, as you continue to develop your scholarly writing skills in being able to describe a study’s key features in more detail. Work to be able to describe the study with as few words and sentences as possible, and in this post explicitly state the instrument’s reliability coefficient.
Two separate questions.

Describe the data collection plan and instrument or tool you propose using in the attached research. Of course, this can change with time. Be sure to address all of the considerations related to the circumstances of your proposed research (for example, quantitative or qualitative or using an existing instrument versus designing and developing your own). Remember to establish the context for your post by stating the most recent version of your problem statement, research question, or purpose statement, as well as the specific research design you have chosen. Be sure to draw upon, cite, and reference authoritative sources in supporting your proposed data collection plan. In addition to authoritative sources on research methods and test design and development, this could include reference to studies that have used this particular data collection method or instrument, which lends credibility for its use. Your post must adhere to APA format and style guidelines.
