Identify a theory that can be used to support your proposed solution.

Identify a theory that can be used to support your proposed solution. Write a summary (250-500 words) in which you: 1. Describe the theory and your rationale for selecting the theory. 2. Discuss how the theory works to support your proposed solution. 3. Explain how you will incorporate the theory into your project. Model/Theory of choice is Pender’s Health Belief Model Please use only citations from 2011 to 2016.

Briefly describe the risk-need-responsibility model.

Each essay question will be assessed in the following manner: The extent to which it answers the question (1 pt.) The extent to which it incorporates course material (1 pt.) The extent to which it incorporates the posts/discussion that have transpired (1 pt.) Length (250 words or less) (1 pt.) Overall Quality (spelling, grammar, coherency, clarity) (1 pt.) Exam Questions 1. Briefly describe the risk-need-responsivity model. Does research indicate the RNR model relates to community corrections? How? 2. Compare and contrast the traditional model of supervision and the new models represented by Trotter, Bonta, and others. Use the readings to support your answer. 3. You are at a family gathering and Aunt Millie, who is 80 years old, says “criminals, especially high risk ones, can’t be rehabilitated.” How would you respond to that comment? Use the readings to support your answer. 4. You are on a plane on your way to vacation and the passenger next to you asks what you do. You tell the person about this course and the person asks “does probation supervision work?” What is your response? Use the readings to support your answer. 5. Sex offenders can’t be treated. Is this true or false? What the basis for your answer? Use the readings to support your answer. 6. Drugs are the primary reason that offenders engage on crime. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Why? Use the readings to support your answer. 7. Is it possible for supervision officers to directly create change in an offender? Why, or why not? Use the readings to support your answer. 8. When you think about the community correctional system as a whole, what changes would you make in order to make the system more effective? In your answer, be sure to indicate what you mean by “effectiveness”. Be explicit, and use the readings to support your answer. 9. Do you believe it is fair to determine sentences based on risk? Using the readings assigned in class and discussions with other students in class, explain your belief on this topic. Consider both philosophical reasons as well as evidence from empirical studies. King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Department of Electrical Engineering EE Power Electronics Project Design of a DC Chopper I. Design of an AC/DC converter with the following the specifications: ? AC supply voltage VS = 230 V (rms), 60 Hz. ? The DC output voltage V01(dc) = 48 V. ? The ripple factor of the output voltage RFV ? 5%. II. Design of step-down DC chopper with the following specifications: ? Switching (or chopping) frequency, fs = 20 kHz. ? Dc input supply voltage VS = 48 V dc, where as the source available is an ac with 230 V (rms). ? Load resistance R = 5 ?. ? The DC output voltage V02(dc) = 12 V. ? The peak-to-peak output ripple voltage, ?VC ? 2.5%. ? The peak-to-peak inductor ripples current, ?IL ? 5%. III. Calculation for both circuits: (a) Determine the values of Le and Ce for the output LC-filter. (b) Determine the (peak and rms) voltage ratings and the (average, rms, and the peak) current for all components and devices. (c) Verify your design calculation by using Pspice simulation. Why is it beneficial to have penicillin skin testing available to military VA veteran patients including patients being seeing at the emergency room, Patients being prep for surgeries, and patients who are admitted in hospitals with a Penicillin allergy warning.

Why do Veterans deserve top of the line medical services.
Express the importance to provide excellent medical care to Military veterans as it pertains to awareness of available Penicillin skin testing by The VA Medical systems.
Please address these topics.
1- The importance of Penicillin skin testing on USA military Veteran patients with a history of allergy to penicillin.
2- Why and how can it be Cost effective to the VA medical system by discontinuing the false penicillin allergy to patients , What medical conditions can be presented or prevented if patients dont know if they are or not allergic to penicillin.
3- Why is it beneficial to have penicillin skin testing available to military VA veteran patients including patients being seeing at the emergency room, Patients being prep for surgeries, and patients who are admitted in hospitals with a Penicillin allergy warning?
4- Are there any hospital facilities proving this services and what are the outcomes on patients and how is it cost effective to hospitals and patients.

5- Show the cost effectiveness in dollars illustrated by a Table graph. With references from peer review articles.

Visiting a Museum
It makes sense to approach a museum the way a seasoned traveler approaches visiting a city for the first time. Find out what there is available to see. In the museum, find out what sort of exhibitions are currently housed in the museum and start with the exhibits that interest you.
If there is a travelling exhibition, its always a good idea to see it while you have the chance. Then, if you have time, you can look at other things in the museum.
Every effort should be made ahead of time to identify a museum that has items and works one can easily connect to our HUM 111 class and book. Since HUM 111 covers from ancient times to the 1500s AD, it makes more sense to focus on items from that time frame. In general, museums with artistic cultural artifacts and fine arts work better than history museums.

Use the following outline for your proposal: • Introduction of Social Policy (5 points) In this section, introduce the social policy to be examined. What is the social policy? Is it an international, federal, state, organizational or local policy/law/rule? Does the social policy aim to reduce inequalities? • Social Problem (10 points) What is the social problem the social policy is intended to address? Who is impacted by the social problem? Does the social problem have different impact on different genders, ethnicities, religions, etc.? • History of the Social Policy (10 points) What is the context under which the social policy was first developed, implemented and/or amended? Describe the social problem at the time the policy was first adopted. Has there been any change in the social problem? Has there been any change in the policy? Have the stakeholders changed? Have the proponents and opponents changed? • Pros and Cons of the Social Policy (10 points) Supporters: Who are the supporters of the social policy?
