he purpose of the paper is to write about a product,service or technology and how it destroys a current technology or industry and what are the future possibilities out of it. Under Joseph Schumpeter’s theory “creative destruction occurs when something old is destroyed for something new”. For this paper, I would like to discuss in general terms the benefits and problems with the Uber car for hire service, with the majority focus being on it’s creative destruction from a US or global perspective. I would prefer to focus from a US perspective however points from a global perspective are fine to include, if needed to reach 5 pages.
