In the instance of the midterm for this course students are to identify an issue in their field of study/discipline or an area of interest (the issue must be supported by academic/scholarly references) and write a 7-9 page research paper.
The paper should identify the issue, as well as, at least two positions (one that supports the issue and one that refutes the issue) supported by academic/scholarly references. The paper should have 3-5 references; 3 of which should be academic articles 10 pages or longer. Again references for this assignment must be scholarly, including web references. In addition, the student’s position on the issue must be presented (in a third person objective voice). This assignment is worth 40 pts.

2. The paper should be documented in APA format.
3. A references page formatted in American Psychology Association (APA) format.
