In chapter 1, Base discusses the concept of the “veil of ignorance.” She defines it like this: “We imagine that each person behind the veil of ignorance does not know his or her gender, age, race, talents, wealth, and so on, in the real world. Behind the veil of ignorance, we choose policies that would be fair for all, protecting the most vulnerable and least-advantaged members of society” (p.34). I agree with the concept of the veil of ignorance partially. I agree that when we choose a policy, we should try to look beyond ourselves. In other words, I should not just be thinking “what’s in it for me?” However, I don’t think all policies should be focused on the vulnerable and least-advantaged. Instead, we should focus on what policies are most helpful for society as a whole, and fair for all. If the policy is helpful for society as a whole, then everyone, including the least-advantaged, will benefit.
I want to need three different discussions on above question. It must be in your own words. All discussion should be five to six line.
