Literature Review: Perform a literature review using peer-reviewed articles and books; identify & cite all sources of data according to APA
Guidelines. Non-research literature is appropriate for some projects such as evidence- based guidelines for health related problems, and some procedures and policies may also be appropriate for some clinical problems encountered in the microsystem.
Theoretical Framework: Identify at least two independent theories or conceptual models that relate directly to the planned project.
Project Plan: Develop the project plan based on your theoretical framework and the literature review.
o Include an environmental assessment of the readiness for change
o Develop the strategy or strategies for meeting the desired outcomes that includes a work breakdown structure (timeline/task list) – a hierarchical definition of the tasks and activities of a project that normally begins with the highest-level activities and works downward into the individual tasks.
The work breakdown structure of a project plan is generally developed using a spreadsheet or Gantt Chart.
The spreadsheet or Gantt Chart becomes the project timeline, identifying dates project tasks will begin, target dates for completion, and when milestones will be reached.
o Include a project budget (table or spreadsheet) for the project that addresses needed personnel, equipment, and/or supplies that may have associated costs.
o Include evaluation methodologies.
o Use APA 6th edition format in writing the plan
