1) Provide a brief description of three different leaders who have inspired you or that you consider effective leaders to this point in your life. At least one of these leaders must be someone whom you interacted with directly (e.g. boss; teacher; mentor, co-volunteer, but not family member), the remainder may be one of these types of people or public figures. Be specific in terms of how/when/where you interacted with these leaders and/or they influenced you. (approx. 1 page)
2) Relying primarily on your learning in COMM 402 and incorporating course content to date, discuss how and why the three leaders you identified are/were effective leaders. Discuss which of the 7 level(s) of the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) (see attached report) you believe they operate(d) at, including specific examples of their behaviours and/or actions that support your rating. (Approx. 2 page).
3) Develop a �draft� personal leadership vision for yourself into the future (assume you are working/have graduated!). Don�t be concerned with specifics in terms of what company or organization you�ll be working with, what type of work you�ll be doing � instead focus on the type of person you want to be and how you plan to lead yourself toward that � the how and the why� not the what! Think about purpose � your purpose in life and how your leadership vision relates to / supports fulfilling your purpose. Also discuss your results from the ELI report and VIA character strengths profile (see attached profile) and how they align with your vision and/or how you could use the thinking from the ELI to move toward your vision. (Approx. 1 page)
