In chapter 13 of the textbook, the authors discuss the System Design Report. One of the sections of this report, Review of Systems Analysis, would include descriptions of existing processes and components of the current system. In such a section, it would be common to find logical diagrams such as Use Case Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams to depict the logical relationships between system components.
