One optional 4-6 page extra credit paper will be accepted any time during the semester.
(1) Visit as many exhibitions as possible. Use first visits to find which exhibits interest or challenge you most. Check exhibition dates closely to allow for second visits.
(2) Return to the exhibit which you plan to use for your written response. Reread the guidelines for writing the paper before visiting the exhibit a second time so that you can organize your observations accordingly. Be thorough AND enthusiastic in your looking. Take notes during or immediately after your visit (titles of work, artist’s name, observations or compare and contrast. Ask questions of the museum or gallery staff where necessary.
(3) Submit typed, completed paper on or before Thurs. May 1st to drop box on D2L.
