Compared with all other type of media in the history, Social Media type of media is the fastest of the world (Osburn, 4). People are very interest for the conversations, for examples, one-to-one, and specific conversations (Osburn, 4). These people in entrepreneurs, are especially interested in conversationings with the CEOs, industry leaders, the business owners, basically the ones with the knowledge that has very rarely been accessible so easily to the Joe Publics.
When we be sure to making the content “consistent and good to ensure that the social engagement is there” people will be so interested (Miles, 124). How important is it to not to only use one social platiform when advertising stuff? This way we can finally see that the ways that Social Media is used can really show us an obvious example of the way that Social Media is affected by community.
We know that YouTube is a multimillion dollar marketing tool (Miles, 164). There are the views reports there which are supposed to provide information on YouTube which can be used to show the increase in interest in items there (Miles, 187). There are analytics to help the business evaluate themselves in this ways we can draw the conclusions that YouTube can prove the increase in the interest toward somethings (Miles, 186). It is our intension in this papers to show from our researches that there has been an influence of interest in Sports by the Social Media. At this time, I looked and it seems better to only use YouTube, because it has the most research, but I am waiting to understand if we can use also Facebook, but not Twitter. I need to find out how to separate all of these to prove the most strong point that in fact, the Social Media did be showing affected to the Sports of a few types.
YouTube is more than a video-hosting site, there is a social parts of the YouTube (Miles, 7). Jason Miles has a lots to say about all this YouTube things. He is such expert of this. His is he the creator of 6 of the top 50 more respondsives replies on all of the whole YouTube. This statistic is of all of those of every of the YouTube videos of all time when this book is written in the year of 2014, which is only the one last year (Miles, 7).
According to this man Miles, there is an eager audience on YouTube and they are just awaiting to watch the videos. When fans share your videos on other social networks, Facebook, LinkedIn or maybe Twitter, they will spread the news of the topics of what they are watching to all friends for them to also share and collect and make bigger your topics which you have in your videos (Miles, 16).
We are discussing the effect of how YouTube can show that interests of people in Sports. For example, there is an well documented American Apathy toward soccer (Buffington, 3). There is also a worldwide love, devotion, obsession, and natural inclination toward soccer in the entire rest of the world. There is evidence in the Snowboarding circles that the transnational effects of Social Media are strong (Thorpe, 2). Salman Khan has a huge following on YouTube teaching many things (Miles, 4). He has been the example of how diverse and random one persons videos can be on YouTube and still be so extremely successful with them all of them (Miles, 4). This can show that when people are interested in something on Social Media, they will be determined and then they will find it. These people are learning all types of things on YouTube. We can now make the connection that if people are finding these types of things and they are determined, then the statistics on the interests in Sports will be evident throughout the research of this paper.
One very so exciting example of this trend is the research done by Holly Thorpe dealing with the Snowboarding culture. “This paper offers the First in-depth examination of the transnational flows…in the contemporary physical culture of snowboarding” (Thorpe, 2). Snowboarding became more and more popular over time through across gender and ages (Thorpe, 2). Although most or many of them are coming to snowboarding with wealth, the interest in the sport is increasing across lines (Thorpe, 2). We can see from this evidence that the social media was partly influential in raising the interest of this sports.“Snowboarding was exposed to international audiences via mass events such as the X Games, Gravity Games and Winter Olympics, it beganattracting an influx of participants from around the world, and from different social classes.” (How to cite this?) Snowboarding has seen a 385% increase in participation
between 1988 and 2003 (Thorpe, 2). She also found sources that support how cultures travel while people travel, and that social aspects of groups in this case, have influenced the changes that they have seen in this study (Thorpe, 3).
Buffington clearly states in his study that the United States is United States is “both internally unified and different from all other nations through its ambivalence toward soccer” (Buffington.here is a distinctly low cultural interest in soccer exhibited by Americans toward the World Cup (Buffington, 3). Buffington found that there is a difference between the way the Americans see soccer and the way the rest of the world sees soccer. They used the world cup to make this conclusions. Their conclusions were related to the World Cup. They studied through the American Soccer Journalists. Though there is much Soccer Journalists in America, the United States is not the only country to call it “soccer”.
