The first section lists the 3 risks. The second section rates the risks on severity and is put on a chart.
The third is a facility audit form.
For this section of the Risk Management Project, you will plug your risks, all 30 of them, into a
Risk Treatment matrix like the one set forth in the text (picture is uploaded of the chart).
In order to simplify the number of severity categories, you can eliminate “critical.” That will
give you three severity categories: catastrophic, moderate, and low.
You should consider five different treatment options: avoidance, elimination, reduction,
retention, and transfer. Keep in mind that some risks can, and should, be treated with more than
one treatment option.
You do not have to type the risk in the matrix. You can list it by number. For example, list the
potential risks 1-30 above the matrix. List the risk by number (e.g., 1, 2, etc.) in the appropriate box in the matrix.
