Develop a narrative status report for the board of directors of the chain store that discusses the numbers of the project to date and at completion.
Be as specific as you can using the numbers that you have been given. Remember that your audience is not familiar with the jargon used by project managers and computer software personnel so it needs to be translated into terms that they can understand.
Any parameter outside of a 10% variance will need a corrective action plan. Your report will be evaluated on your detailed use of the data, your perspective of the current state and future status of the project and your recommendations.
Leverage the concepts in the case study, as well as content from the course. Ultimately, your narrative status report for the board of directors should include both current state information, forecasted information and recommendations to move forward.
This report should be presented at an executive-level in 5 pages, using appropriate graphics and tools (i.e., corrective action plan and issue log).
